I went Friday and Sunday. Sooo many booths, not enough money to spend on accessories. I bought 6 things that I didn't even know I needed before. That's not counting the firearms I want to buy later.
Echo that a $5 Diet Coke was too expensive.
Some seminars sounded pretty good, but I spent...
The link says the loan was not yet paid nor forgiven. They are forgiven if you demonstrate you used them for agreed purposes (primarily employee wages)
So he didn't turn in the follow-up paperwork. Shocking.

I think about the current young generation. Plenty of them are obviously great young men and women. But they have serious coping problems and a high suicide rate.
There are certainly more broken families than there were a few decades ago. However, plenty of men raised by single moms are...
I'm not a Biblical expert. But it's somewhere in my memory that "good samaritan" has a legal meaning that would apply here. For example, when I was in vet school we were told that if we assisted humans in a medical emergency we had some legal protection under "good samaritan" concept. That...
I think what the police actually said.. at least when I heard them... Was that they had been unable to locate a permit
Contrary to what the state goofball predicted, Constitutional Carry made the police job EASIER because they don't need to know whether Eli has a permit or not.
I agree that it isn't any difference in the reality that he likely got surprised, and it gives no comfort To his family or friends. I merely shared it as an anecdotal piece of information that there are more people at the mall carrying.
This is the story regarding Gomez. He was the unfortunate man who walked into the restroom and shot by the scumbag. They later found he had a pistol on him...
In the video shared earlier from Colin Noir, Noir gives some FBI stats on shootings stopped by civilians. Does anyone have a reference to where that data is collated?
15 seconds actually makes a lot more sense than 2 minutes. In 2 minutes, a shooter could have used up his 100 rounds of ammo or most people could have ran away if he wasn't shooting fast.
If the carry had been illegal, it still would not have negated the reality of the self defense statute. Theoretically even a 5x murdering felon could have done what he did and still been acting under self defense. A person illegally carrying in that situation would be subject to a possession...
yeah, maybe. it's possible but also difficult especially under stress
What really matters under stress though is the decision-making process: is it time to engage, can I minimize the chance of hitting innocent people, etc?
Police officers sometimes hit innocent people during similar situations.
The first person shot was named Gomez. He supposedly had a handgun. He reportedly was walking into the restroom as bad guy was walking out, hence Gomez was shot first.
Different "moment" than when the bad guy retreated back in the restroom.
I don't know that answer. It's a fair question
the current article suggests that he just happened to be walking in the restroom as the bad guy was walking out of the restroom. But perhaps details will come about.
In a facebook comment Relford just said that Dicken DOES have an LTCH. I'm not sure why the police thought otherwise. There is probably just plenty of normal confusion to go around at this point.
