      15 seconds actually makes a lot more sense than 2 minutes. In 2 minutes, a shooter could have used up his 100 rounds of ammo or most people could have ran away if he wasn't shooting fast.

      yeah, maybe. it's possible but also difficult especially under stress What really matters under stress though is the decision-making process: is it time to engage, can I minimize the chance of hitting innocent people, etc? Police officers sometimes hit innocent people during similar situations.

      The first person shot was named Gomez. He supposedly had a handgun. He reportedly was walking into the restroom as bad guy was walking out, hence Gomez was shot first. Different "moment" than when the bad guy retreated back in the restroom.

      I don't know that answer. It's a fair question the current article suggests that he just happened to be walking in the restroom as the bad guy was walking out of the restroom. But perhaps details will come about.
