Stormy Daniels had Sex with a 1000 Guys in 100 Movies so Teen Boys Could Watch. She's Suing Trump for "Defaming her Character."

Yep. When a pornstar can get traction with that... it should tell you something about the character of the president.

You will be part of the five proud branches of the United States Armed Forces -- Army, Navy, Marines, Air Force and the Coast Guard. And we're actually thinking of a sixth, and that would be the Space Force
    -President Donald J. Trump

What in the hell? Wouldn't any such branch be covered by one of the the already established military branches (Navy, Air Force)? And from there, grow until they were large enough to require it's own branch... like say the Army Air Corps? I hope someone doesn't write him a letter asking to build a Death Star.

The President may be getting the American citizens held in North Korea released, as a show of good faith. If so, that a coup. Kudos to him, and I give him credit for getting it done.

It means that you aren't saying anything new and I'm unwilling to spend time arguing about it. You're welcome to your corporate plutocracy. Just please don't conflate America's founding principles with the brave new world seem to admire.
You just said it was old. And yet it’s new?

    And.... OMG! You said “conflate”.

Plus. You still got it wrong. I hate to break it to you but marx was not an enlightenment thinker. You conflate enlightenment principles with Marx-lite. Here’s how it works: Less tax = more profit. Profit relates to return on investment. Investors are entitled—YES I SAID ENTITLED—to have the savings from tax breaks destributed to them. They are the only ones “entitled” to that money because IT’S THEIR MONEY. The relationship between the employer and employees is a contract agreed upon by both (or by collective bargaining). The only sentiment which makes the employer responsible for passing profits onto employees, beyond what is contractually agreed upon, is emotional. No more is owed them no matter how hellicoplter-mom one gets about it.

Now that’s not to say that companies have no moral responsibility for how employees are treated, or fairly agreeing on compensation. But there’s nothing immoral about a company distributing profits back to its investors. They are the rightful owners of it.

The article did say it would be under the AF, similar to how the Marines and Navy are.

He is such a horrible speaker.
"And we're actually thinking of a sixth, and that would be the Space Force," Trump added. "Does that make sense? The Space Force, General. You probably haven't even heard that. I’m just telling you now. This is perhaps — because we're getting very big in space, both militarily and for other reasons, and we are seriously thinking of the Space Force."

If only we could ask them if they preferred a leg-tingling, pants perfectly creased president who seldom missed a photo op but allowed politics to interfere with virtually every aspect of war fighting and gave comfort to their enemies

Or if they preferred someone who didn't interrupt operations so troops could protect his ass and instead gave the generals leeway and ROE that allowed them to kill the enemy expeditiously

    Hmmm. Tough call

I'd give you some rep but "must spread it around"...

Damn socialist-anarchist libs who want everyone to get rep! :)

Great point. If companies were in such dire straits then we wouldn’t be seeing larger and larger gaps in compensation packages (and Golden parachutes) of CEO’s/upper executives and the average worker within companies. The majority of all capital saved by automation (the true killer of quality American jobs), outsourcing, tax cuts, etc. goes to the top brass and rarely makes it down to the people who truly are responsible for a company’s success. There’s nothing wrong with differences in wages but a CEO earning 300 times that of a full time employee is pretty ridiculous in most circumstances. The middle class drives the economy, not the top 1%.

It turns out Michelle Obama is our "forever First Lady"......I had no idea....

    https://ntknetwork.com/michelle-obama-declares-herself-americas-forever-first-lady/

Former First Lady Michelle Obama offered herself as America’s “forever First Lady,” at a college signing day event at Temple University in Philadelphia on Wednesday.

“We have such high hopes for you. See, I am not one of those doubters. I know that you have everything it takes to succeed,” Obama said. “I know you are me, and if I can be standing here as your forever First Lady, then you can do anything you put your mind to.”
The crowd erupted into applause at this line.

How odd. I know when people retire (or are retired) from high positions, they are often still referred to by the title they held; such as calling former office holders 'Governor' or 'Senator' or 'Admiral'. I am not aware of calling their spouse by their position, which is really Mrs. [surname] as they held no position other than spouse

I would, however, be willing to accord Michelle the title of forever 'Dude looks like a lady' and Hillary the title of forever 'festering cesspool of discontent'

Now wait just a dadgum minute! Who are you and what have you done with the real Alpo? Everybody knows conflate (especially used in its trendy formulation) is a pet peeve of his. He done told us so (unless that was the Alpo doppelgänger making that testy post) :dunno:

Just so, there is nothing preventing the employee from leveraging the scarcity of their particular skill set for higher pay (except that Pakistani H1B who will do their job for 40 cents on the dollar)
