For anyone who needs some salt with their eggs this morning...

From the WTHR (spits on ground) website:

Indiana Democratic Party Chairman Mike Schmul released a statement on behalf of the party after the bill was signed, which read, in part:

“A majority of Hoosiers told Indiana Republicans directly they opposed permitless carry. State law enforcement echoed their opposition to the measure a year after Republicans defunded their departments. But unfortunately, Governor Eric Holcomb decided to put politics ahead of protecting the safety of Hoosier families by signing permitless carry into law."

A majority of Hoosiers, eh? Was there a majority of Hoosiers against gay marriage? Or (m)any of the other cockeyed leftist schemes that have been hoisted upon us over the past few years, Mikey?

Go bake yourself a cake, ya buttercup.

St Joe Sheriff and SB Police Chief are both anti 2A. WSBT news has had interviews with both of them decrying the new law. Its a shame as they get an unfettered opportunity to spread lies.
Maybe they should resign and go to Australia, they can take Carter and a few others with them. Seems like the perfect place for them these days.

    In the country, hopefully.
Just to confirm, after this is the law of the land, a Kentucky resident, that does not have any sort of handgun license, can carry in Indiana?

    Correct?
    Just don’t ask Kirk!

A majority of their sample, based on a question that was probably stated in a way to get the result they want.

I like how the Dems are now taking every chance possible to say that Repubs are "defunding the police"

They sure are trying to flip out from under that little stunt pretty quick.

How many times has anyone noticed a poll result, X amount of Americans support gun control... but the question asked in the poll was, do you want your children to be violently murdered.

22.4% of Indiana adult have a LTCH, many advertising in the classies want to see the DL and LTCH.

Driving ACROSS Illinois, not getting out of the car with a holstered handgun? Need a LTCH. Go south or east and you are good (very soon for east) but north requires a LTCH.
I try and avoid going west.

Mind you, I feel for those people, 90% of that state is held hostage by that city by the lake.

It feels like a break up or something. :(

But we got 'er done! :ingo:
It'll be January again before we know it. Won't be pumping the volume up to (beyond where all the graphic equalizer lights aren't blinking, whatever that is, afterburner?) 24/7 like with ConC, but there will be something.

Arizona allows carry in K-12 schools if you have a permit, and has for several years, without incident.

    Just sayin'.....

I don't know if it was mentioned but the 'mom's' that camped out at Holcombs office yesterday refused to leave at 5pm when asked. Police responded to arrest only to let them go when they promised to leave the building. :)
I just wanted to follow up with the story, looks like they were cuffed for almost an hour

That bill would certainly separate the Fudds from the 2A advocates. People that didn’t know they were fudds would find out they always were.

Becca McCracken... oh yeah she's Mad Mom who testified that without the LTCH requirement the ISP wouldn't be sending out information on safe storage of firearms. Without that all my long guns would be loaded and laying on the kitchen table.

Ya'll got to fast forward through this **** at the Statehouse!!!

One of the others picured in the link I remember from the HB 1369 hearing in 2021. Personality type was openly hostile and a bit unhinged.
