In case I missed it over the weekend, has there been a discussion of Kyle saying: "I support the BLM movement?"

...and before anyone says: "what do you expect him to say?" I'd say that there is nothing he can say that is going to change the mind of anyone who hates him, so stick with "this didn't have anything to do with race" and move on.

    ...but he's a kid.

    My thoughts:

I am wrong about at least one thing...avoiding attention. I see where he has already given an interview to Tucker Carlson. He revealed that he supports the BLM movement.

Are we too going to be suckered into the media’s narrative too? Kyle is who he is, the idealistic kid cleaning graffiti, not the bad gun guy the media proclaims…

    In the country, hopefully.
Kyle has been lied about and smeared by left wing AND centrist media, to the extent the latter even exists. So of course he's going to align with right-wing and even questionable sources who at least are supportive, because no one in the middle was fair. From my viewpoint as a libertarian, D'Souza (the father at least) is extremist about some things. So is Tucker Carlson.

I'm not here to argue that with you all. I'm saying that WHEN he aligns himself with the far right, it will be because the left and center showed him the right wing media were the only ones to be trusted.
Wasn’t criticizing the deal making or friendship or whatever is going on at all, just to clarify.

I read somewhere that the extent of his "EMT training" was classified as "EMT Cadet" training with the Antioch Fire Dept. Not sure how advanced that training would be. He would most likely have working first aide comprehension and CPR training.

…with whom he has zero chance. She’s way out of his league. And she’s married. But I think we can be fairly certain that the reason that photo was taken had more to do with your reasoning. Grinning young man fresh from being vindicated from a politically motivated murder trial sits freely, next to a pretty woman. That photo almost takes itself.
You must be forgetting that he is going to be VERY VERY rich after all these law suits.

Either the Antioch or Grayslake news paper. Not sure level of EMT training but when I took the training it wasnt that hard (in the 80's). I know you are allowed to do even less today than back then.
Yep. It was called "first aid". I suppose definitions change....look at what happened to "gay".

Today, maybe. When I went through it was well above basic first aid. The rescue squad I was on required an EMT certification, not red cross first aid.

I was reflecting on some past posts.....yes this was a victory for Kyle.....this time, this case. But it was still a victory for the anti 2A people also. They keep pecking away, they never stop. They took a clear self defense case, arresting the victim, not arresting the surviving attacker that had a illegal gun. They managed to get it before a judge, did everything wrong and Judge still would not throw it out, and instead of getting 12 people to decide within a hour of not guilty...they got it to take 4 days to make up their mind, or minds.....they are on the very threshold of victory against us. Its happening and happening right before our eyes. They are slowly brainwashing people into their ideology thinking. I'm amazed on social media platforms how many people still blame Kyle, accuse him of things, call him the violent one....and say not a word about those attacking him, and some of these have come from proclaimed "christians", although as a believer myself showed them how an why they were not what they said they were.....they don't get it, to them self defense is just violence and was told they won't teach that to their kids.....I guess the poor daughter will get a shiny rape whistle to protect her....sad. They keep chipping away, and before you know it you go from a Republic, to a Democracy, to Communism.
I'm hoping you're being pessimistic rather than correct about the Rittenhouse jury. Perhaps we'll find out presently, but speculation was that the "holdout" was the jury foreperson (I hate that term) who was holding out for some sort of conviction; not that the rest of the jury were uncertain. I certainly hope that's true.

On the other hand, the statists will keep pushing an anti-2A agenda for as long as they can. I can only hope we don't find out what breaks first; the Constitution or the statists.

Robert Barnes - a somewhat prominent defense attorney & YouTube commentator - opines that it will be more difficult for Kyle to win a defamation lawsuit than it will be for his mom, who was also defamed by the mainstream media and various other commentators. SHE may be the one going home with a nice payday.

As long as SOMEBODY gets rich. I'm sure she'll share.

Or the whole thing tears apart the family like winning the lottery. Lets hope not.
