    Went to Menards today.
Had to wear masks and we walked around a bit becoming less and less happy.
    So we left without spending.
    Will buy the supplies elsewhere.

Hopefully nobody is taking it out on the poor staff at stores and restaurants. Finished my meal and went to pay, few people ahead of me. Wait Staff asked me to put on a mask, which I had in my pocket and forgot to put on. So I need, didn't say a word. The look on her face was priceless, the poor girl must have been getting with both barrels from people. She said people being plain A-Holes.

Yeah that is the down side but it brings to light that people are seeing through this made up :bs:

I went into Lowes today. No mask. None on me. No intention of wearing one anyway. The cashiers all know me as I am in there as much as a Hispanic roofing contractor....:):

Not a word was said. Got a couple of looks from the sheeple shopping but MEH.

    Somewhere else
Went to the local hardware, no mask for me or any of the employees. Went to Lowes, no mask for me or most of the other customers, many employees wearing masks improperly.
Went to one of the local pizza places, 5 employees, 1 adult, 4 teenagers. The adult had no mask or gloves, 3 of the 4 teenagers had cloth masks worn either under their nose or
lower lip. The last teenager had a surgical mask covering both mouth and nose and was wearing gloves. Also went inside a local bank today, no customers with masks. Those
government mandated mask signs seem to be having an effect.
And now for the real irony. As I'm driving home, I get a phone call from my employer. It seems that one of my coworkers
has been out sick for the last 2 days and is presumed to be positive for Covid. I am now quarantined from work until either they receive a negative test result or I'm symptom free
for 14 days and have a negative test. Even though everyone in the building is required to wear a mask the entire time we are at work I am considered high risk for exposure.
I'm around people every day either with no mask, cloth masks, or masks worn improperly and haven't caught anything in months, but I sit near someone at work who properly
wears a 3 layer mask, as do I, every day for over a month and I'm now presumed infected because they might have it.

Suppose your co-worker ran into church mouse at the big box store?

    In the country, hopefully.
I am suggesting how we should behave towards others in church and at funerals (which I assume is at a church). For Christians, that behavior should generalize to how we behave elsewhere. What brought that to mind was also another post about having a separate section of the church where people who did not want to wear masks should sit.

So your statement doesn't make the right application really. What should govern when a healthy Christian wears a mask, the law of the land or the law of the Kingdom?
I started to respond to that post about a place for the maskless to sit but didn’t really have the time; my view is that the proper way to handle this is to provide a space for those who are more concerned to be, the church is a naturally social place and most there (at least at mine) aren’t overly concerned, some masks some not. But we have a section roped off for those who want to wear masks and only be around others who mask up; they even have their own touch less entrance.
The key for church is that nobody should be judging what another wants to do, and that goes either way. So far so good for us.

    Uh oh...

"He added that he "sort of liked" how he looked with one on, likening himself to the Lone Ranger, a fictional masked hero who with his Native American friend, Tonto, fought outlaws in the American Old West."

Trump gets accused of praising a white man that took advantage of a Native American in 3... 2... 1.... ;)

Reminds me of this verse from "If I Had A Boat" by Lyle Lovett.

"The mystery masked man was smart
    He got himself a Tonto
'Cause Tonto did the dirty work for free
    But Tonto he was smarter
And one day said kemo sabe
Well, kiss my ass, I bought a boat
    I'm going out to sea"

I'm not wearing one any more than I absolutely have to cause I think the whole thing is complete BS .

I'm not convinced a mask saves any lives at all considering how many common things we all touch.

How many door handles, gas pumps, card readers, shopping carts, etc. are we all touching continuously , 'spreading " this ' killer " virus?

If it were that dangerous masks and lockdowns should've happened months ago , why didn't they?

I think by now most of us have come in contact with it and we're either gonna die or not .

I think it's just another part of life like the cold or flu.

That's why you wear a mask AND wash your hands often, and obey social distancing when possible.

Masks are meant to protect others who are more at risk than you.

Why would you take the risk of spreading a deadly virus to your fellow Americans?

When you have the flu I bet you don't come in close contact with elderly family members.
