I personally wouldn't put stickers on my vehicle, mainly due to OPSEC reasons as the less people know about me in public the better. However, I have too much going on to be concerned about what people stick on their vehicles.
This. Every urban training event I've taken in the military had little nuggets of "Check for an NRA sticker, good chance there's a side arm in the glove compartment/under the seat" mentality.

    Finally got my furnace installed.

I'm no expert, but that elbow sticking out the return air side, is it open? If so, may want to close it up to draw air from your other returns, for circulation. You may already have a plan for this - just an observation.

Don't forget propper vents or moisture will rot your roof.

Way ahead of ya. That's actually the exact brand we're putting in. Funny enough, the house didn't have those until now.

You are correct that is open. The ductwork needs to be re-arranged and currently most of the returns have been torn out for the time being. The house is not habitable as of now, but we need heat for finish work that will be commencing soon. I plan on putting in double returns for the rooms I'll have doors closed (bedroom and computer room) with one at the top and one at the bottom. I'll close one off in the summer, and the other in the winter.

It was originally a 70% 100,000 BTU Janitrol, now a 96.1% 80,000 BTU. Now to finish stuffing R-38 in my 4-12 pitch attic. Oh boy, what fun!
If you go to Home Depot you can buy the blown in insulation and they give you a free rental of the blower machine for 24 hours.

2 person job. I person stays outside and feeds the machine. 1 person is in the attic and "blows" the insulation. The hose is about 100' long, machine was in my front yard, ran the hose up to a bedroom window, then up the access hatch in the closet and there was still enough hose to reach to the far end of the attic.

We added about 16" of insulation to my attic (3/12 pitch roof) in late October. Took about 90 minutes to complete the job. Honestly easier and faster than we guessed.

We have a small white elephant exchange with the wife's extended family tonight. Really wanted to throw in some Biden paraphernalia to get a rise out of people, but didn't want that **** showing up on my amazon search. Anyone know of any place locally? Hat, bumper sticker, etc type items.

I'm currently using a stock of free scrap fiberglass insulation my dad and I got off of our jobsites, and free is free. Once that runs out, we'll be renting a machine at some point. 4/12 is bad enough, I couldn't image crawling through a 3/12 attic.

The machine is the way to go.
Before jedi did it to the attic it looked like this....

Changed out the old can screw in lights to LED while this project was on-going as well. Created foam boxes to have working space in the future to access the bathroom fan, the led lights..

Finally just blew all those bags jedi got from home depot with their free rental machine. 20201111_100749.jpg
    20201111_113537.jpg

If jedi recalls correctly you have to buy a certain number of bags to get the free rental. jedi thinks it was 20. jedi recalls that jedi got some 25 bags are if you bought in bulk the price per bag was less. The extra 5 bags pushed it well beyond what was needed bit whatever.

    :(
Miss the old van that was stolen.
Ended up doing 3 trips (2 for the bags, 1 for the machine) but it was worth it.

between going all LED in the house, adding the insulation and getting the new furnance the nispco bill took a huge nose dive.

This greyman no sticker mentality is chest pumped all the time. I've run trucks for decades with stickers on them and never had a window smashed or a truck even broken into and i used to work by cabrini green quite a bit. Massively overblown IMO. The current joke is there's a free glock in every FDE Tacoma... maybe... YMMV

Note the painter sticks taped together was how high thensulated need to be based on the insulation charts.

It was advised to put these markings in the area so when u blow the stuff in u have a ref. Point.

As u can see in the images the sticks are buried. :)

Special Thanks to 2A_Tom who came to look at this pre-job and advised on what to do.

It was a 2 person job but only took 1 day. It was about 2 days of prep work.

Wear a respirator, full face. And gloves and the painter suit cause you ar gonna end up PINK. :)

When I'm done, there may be only two or three non-LED lights in the entire house. I specifically got the ones I can change the temperature on so (2500K, 5000K, 7500K, etc.). It completely changes the mood of the room when I change them.
