I think not commenting to the press would be the best approach, but I appreciate the sentiment.

Arizona homeowner shoots, kills suspected intruder, injures another: ‘Better come in ready’

An Arizona homeowner shot and killed a suspected intruder and injured another man when the duo tried to break into a house Saturday, police said.
Michael Ahumada, 34, was killed when he and another unidentified man tried to break into a home in Phoenix just after 1 a.m. Saturday, police told FOX10 Phoenix.

The man who was injured in the incident was said to be in critical but stable condition as of Saturday.
The homeowner told AZFamily.com in a brief interview that he won't hesitate to defend himself again in a future break-in.
"If they come in... [they] better come in ready," the homeowner said.

    I kinda agree, sort of.
I know, this can be brought up later in a court.
But maybe that's the message that needs to start getting out.

    I still remember this..

[h=1]5 shot at Safe and Sound Senior Citizen Social Club in Gary[/h]Sturgis said he hopes the shooting will send a message to the younger people who want to cause trouble from Chicago. "We're in Indiana, they [are] from Illinois, they don't know people got permits to carry guns, so bang bang, that is what happened," Sturgis said.

They might report that the mother overreacted.

"The mother also told police the more she thought about it, the more she realized it might have been a cultural misunderstanding and Zayan might have just been patting her daughter on the head and smiling."

Kidnapping of Phoenix girl, 11, scuttled by witness with handgun
The unidentified suspect allegedly grabbed the girl as she walked, took her arm and placed it behind her back and then covered her face with his own arm in an April 3 incident.

Noting the situation, a witness reportedly knocked the man to the ground and told him to leave the girl alone. He then pointed the gun at the suspect and demanded he leave, Sgt. Tommy Thompson with the Phoenix police said, according to Fox 10.

Don't move dirt bag. Now, roll on your stomach and lie there until the police arrive.

But, if they comply it saves the police a bunch of time. I would also be videoing him.

I have a new training regime which amounts to pulling my phone, hitting the on button, swiping the camera icon and starting the video.

I was showing someone what he should have done when the policeman was shouting and cursing him because of a false report (the cop didn't turn on his body cam until my friend replied to his bad demeanor) when I realized that I had not hit the start button.

I was pointing out, that telling them that, doesn't mean they are going to do it.
And shooting them in the back would be BAD.

Oh true. I was just pointing out that best course is to recognize that you "won", stay in control, not shooting them in the back. Which would be bad. Satisfying, probably, but bad.
