      I hope they restrict crossbows next hunting season.

      I would like to see Indiana start a primitive hunting season in (September for deer and maybe earlier than normal for small game). That way people have ANOTHER opportunity to get out and hunt.

      Fawn or Yearling???

      We have always called a yearling a deer in its first year. Same as a fawn. We call a 1 1/2 year old deer just that a 1 1/2 year old.

      Hog hunting

      This is very true. Also good luck finding anyone in Indiana that has hogs and will actually let you hunt them. I have heard others say that they know of a couple farms that have them but the farmers, family and friends want to hunt them. We do not have enough of them in Indiana at this time...

      Deer Processing

      I wish it was that easy for me. I have a family of 4 and we go through at least 3 deer a year. However we eat it all of the time. I doubt there is a week all year where we do not eat something with deer meat in it. We also make a lot of jerky. my mouth is watering now.

      Look things over VERY well. I have never seen a pawn store around that had guns at a decent price. The ones I have seen have all been $50-$100 more than any other place. Have you checked these prices against a local gun store?
