People died from covid 19 in much higher numbers than flu, initially, because covid 19 was novel. Now that it’s burned through the population, not so much.

If we only knew that was true. With them recording deaths "with" covid in stead of deaths "from" covid, we will never really know.

Plus there were the lockdowns. Who knows how many died because of that.

The one thing I will say about covid over the other influenza viruses is that it is much more contagious.

I don’t have any problem going along with the claim that covid killed a lot of people. I’ll grant that it killed many more people than the flu typically does because of its novel nature. But like you said, because of the shenanigans that the our governments and health officials played, the magnitude of that number will always be in doubt in my mind.

Idunno. Just anecdotally, within my own circle, I know personally way more people who have died from covid than have died from the flu. They were all older. Went into the hospital because they couldn’t breathe because of what covid does. Got ventilated. Then died.

So part of that could easily be ineffective or even harmful treatment. And that’s a consequence, at least in part, of the novelty. Remember at first they thought covid brought on something like pneumonia.

Funny you say that. I did get pneumonia from Covid. I've gotten it from sinus infections in the past too though. Upper respiratory infections can cause other infections.

I'm willing to accept/believe that at-risk demographics experienced excess mortality resulting from the virus. Other than that, you are absolutely correct. The numbers were fudged so much, conflating death with Covid and death from Covid, that we'll never know for certain for the population at-large.

This ineffective or harmful treatment was by design and IMO not a consequence. Fake testing, dangerous/deadly vaccines, remdesiver and venting did cause deaths and it was financially incentivized in the medical community by the government. IIRC it was $39k for venting alone. Murder for hire death protocols that killed family, including mine. At some point in the past the medical employees knew the dangers and many are still employed are carrying out current dangerous and deadly protocols, especially the vaccines/boosters. Has the United States stopped giving the Soft Kill is Real shots?

I'd seen you posted this before and I'm sorry. It's horrible. I've had the same experiences with family and friends, deaths and terrible adverse effects/medical conditions. These same people are now trying to figure out what happened. I know.
