INGO, I see a couple things I'm doing wrong during this magazine exchange. It may not be a big deal, but if I'm going to do it, I may as well do it right. Can you identify them, along with anything else?

Is that more than 1 round left? I'd work on counting so that when you drop, the last round has just been chambered and not the round , or 2, before.

    1. Appears from the pic you could be getting to the button sooner
    2. Gun is being pointed too high - keeping it flatter will reduce the time and increase consistency getting back on target
    3. Gun not angled towards ammo source
    4. Not looking the mag in

ETA: I have to agree, the hat is way too cool for that gun.

The gun looks to be a bit outside of your workspace and line of sight like you retracted it too far back and to the right while also tipping the muzzle up more than necessary.

The position of your fresh mag seems better and more natural if you'd maintained the mag well in that same position to receive it.

Just requested ideas from the picture ...my mag changes could certainly use more work. ;)

Reload is taking place in Tennessee.

You seem to be threat aware. Your muzzle isn't sweeping any bystanders.

Your trigger finger could stand to be a bit higher on the frame/slide.

I would position the gun ahead of me (opposed to the side as pictured) with the magwell toward my incoming reload. I would also retain my partial reload (but not everyone does). It's tough to tell from a static pic but I assume you are moving and situationally aware.

Counting rounds isn't going to happen under stress. The hat isn't my style but its SOO you. :):

HE is dropping a mag with ammo in it. You always pocket that mag and never leave it for the other guys. Rookie.

No trick question, Cedertop. Many of you got it and I was especially concerned about my finger being that close to the trigger during reloading. I'm not sure if this is what I normally do, but I'll be paying special attention from now on. That is the recipe for a fatal accident.
