Took my baby to the range today

Well I said I wasn't going to do it but I did, I had no other options. Bought a Wiley Clapp Colt 44 single action revolver a little over a year ago and I swore I would keep her unfired, brand spankin new, unmolested with hang tag in place; but I but I put my finger in her trigger guard today and she went bang. And now I feel.......well, GOOD

I'm with you, I buy them to shoot.

I agree that I buy them to shoot also BUT I still have a Colt 1911 100 years of service anniversary that I have yet to shoot. Ah, maybe someday.

I love this revolver, my only other single action is a Ruger single six, which is also nice. I'm glad I shot it. Shoots incredibly at point of aim even with the rudimentary rear groove for a sight. It took me about an hour to shoot my .44 reloads (50) only cause it took about a minute after each shot to wipe the smile off my face.
