What if Russia truly does have no intention of invading Ukraine. What if Biden and company knows Russia has no intention of invading, that its just exercises to flex Russia power. What if Russia is doing all this to help Biden and company...? Look how Biden is flexing his power, sending troops, threatening Russia....Biden has never been right ever about foreign affairs ever, he gets it wrong 100%. And now he somehow has Russia figured all out.....? Russia never had any intention of invading, Biden knows they are not going to.....how would you use that to your advantage when your poll numbers are down? You get everyone including the media to get on board that Russia is invading, you get people out, you send troops, you flex your power all the while Russia is saying, what the heck are they doing? THEN.....it all goes away, nothing happens, Russia at some point withdrawals troops......and Biden and media declare victory over Russia. Biden saves the day with his expertise in foreign affairs and keeps world peace. And it was all just a scam....I hear democrats are good at scams. Like when they said Trump was a Russian spy....What if?

I mentioned that as one scenario up above thread. Total "Wag the Dog," both sides claim victory, all the right people make money, kinda deal...

Doesn't take any actual invasion or bloodshed either, just moving troops around, having "joint exercises," and a bunch of morons spouting jibber jabber all over the media. (edited to add: plus making all the right investments and shorts beforehand.)

All sung to the tune of "It's the end of the world as we know it"

    May be connected, tangentially......

A counter to the following? Although note, in several of the photo's it looks like Coast Guard sailing alongside them.

And the battle flags will be more colorful too. I'm sure the Russian troops will be so mesmerized by it they won't know what hit them.

    Seems to be the hope.

I'm reminded of the phrase, "Hope in one hand, **** in the other and see which fills up first".

I expect it would not turn out well.

What we really need to give the Ukraine is a whole mess load of A-10's, plenty of fuel and ammo...

No entry into NATO, but we'll sell ya your defensive weapons on the cheap, training included.
We're already giving them - through surrogates, apparently, a ****-ton of Javelin anti-tank missiles, which would be considerably more effective against Russian armor than a gaggle of A-10s, considering Russian anti-air capabilities.

And we should continue to supply more missiles until they're overrun with the darned things; until every Urkraine TEENAGER has a couple in his/her bedroom just waiting for a Russian tank or APC to come calling.

As far as Ukraine joining NATO: when they gave up their nuclear missiles at the end of the Cold War, we _promised_ them we'd shield them from Russia. Having them join with other Eastern European countries into either NATO or a "NATO-like" organization for self-defense against the Russian Bear makes sense, no matter that it bruises the paranoid Russian psyche. If Putin wants to re-establish the USSR, let him do it in the direction of "the Stans" and China, not Eastern Europe.

If a invasion happens the idea of a determined resistance. Among the general population IMO is overrated.

If you have witnessed a combined arms CALFAX.
You need well trained and disciplined people in order to withstand the onslaught.

Russian Artillery tactics have not changed since WW2. Rolling barrages with tanks and APC right behind the incoming rounds. This with ground attack aircraft both fixed wing and rotor.

Handing AT-4 and Javlins out just wont cut it against MLRS that take out entire grid squares.

Light units can only deny terrain against the Russian Juggernaut. You have to fight with heavy units.

So now the US says Russia plans to invade pretty soon. Lots of talk that Russia is planning a false flag to provide cause.

My two cents, back channel notifications went out today to nato that they better get their people out now or else they will be casualties.

Oh, well, never mind then, all is well...

It just might be that everything is well. Maybe they know that Russia has no real intention to invade the Ukraine and it's all show to make Harris look like she can handle the job when they are forced to get rid of Biden? :dunno:

More likely it’s going to go to **** and they need a convenient scapegoat to keep the heat off bidet. She’s is damaged goods and they know it.
It’s the same thing the potato just said in an interview this week when asked about the disaster in Afghanistan… “He wasn’t told that would happen.” And denied the reports of top officials telling him that was exactly what would happen.

I was just told that Russian electronic warfare units have began disruption of GPS across the Ukraine. This could be the beginning of the offensive. They also told US and other European countries to leave Ukraine immediately.
