Thanks for the rep. I get tired of the 'voter suppression' shtick anytime the law expects people to do something they have to be able to do in everyday life - prove they are who they say they are. The frail old black lady who doesn't drive and doesn't have a drivers license must still have ID to cash checks or bank or use a credit card, and she can request an absentee ballot to boot. We shouldn't distort a system that has worked for 238 years to accomodate a few outliers
