Northing?
The most photographed place in Colorado and no one on here has been there?
Thanks for the reply. As for the ps I only know what I read on the web. We are going to give it a go in June. I will report back on the results.I lived in Colorado for 25 years. "Roads" is a rather broad term and is dependent on weather, time of year, etc.
That being said, a good friend in Indiana drove along I-70 on his way to Utah a couple of weeks ago. He wasn't comfortable with the drive. It was his first time in the mountains. So, like most things, YMMV. Drive slow, have 4WD available and you'll get up to Crystal.
ps. the most photographed area of Colorado is the Maroon Bells.
It is a heavily photographed place. I have never been to Colorado but doing it in less than a month.I just realized this morning the background of the abandoned mill on my desktop was Crystal! We do want a return trip to Colorado, the state is too big to see everything in one week.
I hope to make a full report and have some pics.Keep your camera running Coach.
