Came across a couple of songs from a family group calling themselves The Petersons.

I do not know much about them, but some good talent in the group....especially the fiddle player.

The young one that sings most is amazing. Their cover of Roots was stellar. I prefer it over the original.

I’m just not a fan. I have some fairly eclectic musical tastes but I don’t like most country music or rap. And I absolutely hate today’s pop.

My music generally consists of old country, some classic rock, 80s rock, nirvana, some old rap, and the oddball bands that don’t really fall into a category (kid rock, Aaron Lewis).
I’m probably gonna catch flack for this, but I hate The Rolling Stones. I like some of the Beatles, ac/dc, kiss, and Pink Floyd are probably my favorite old rock bands.

I used to be a music nut. I loved spending my time off work reading lyrics and listening to music. I barely listen to anything anymore, music just sucks now. I do wear a nirvana or Pink Floyd shirt most days... i have 3 closets full of clothes, 1 is nothing but band shirts I hardly ever wear.

Funny, I’ve honestly never listened to jazz, outside of a jazz bar I went to once. I’m sure I could get into it, it seems more about the love of the music and from the heart instead of being about lyrics... but I’ve never heard it on radio and don’t know any artists so never bought a jazz cd.

I have a good friend that is a pilot for AA, he’s big into bluegrass and pretty good on a banjo. I used to hate banjo music, but I guess I’m getting old, or maybe now since I know someone who plays it’s different, but it’s a lot more uplifting than I thought
