As funny as it is, I don't think it was meant as a joke.
Yeah. It was. It started with this:
Ya that is kinda sad. I was making a joke, but it’s still family and a human being with feelings. But jokes make me laugh and I like to laugh :)
We were talking about one of my cousins who is trans. So then I posted this.
I like to laugh too. Ever wonder what trangenders think of the "trans-american-pipeline"? I'm thinking they might have a different perspective on that.
Which is definately intended as a joke. I think a trans person with a sense of humor would joke about trans-american pipeline for all the multiple entandres one could possibly find.

But then, somehow INGO made it into an argument about whether "trans" is a word or a prefix. Who cares? I mean, how much pipleline could trans lay across America anyway?

I dunno... if it's a female-to-male transition, is there a limit to the size of the "pipe" they install? ;)

That's a good observation. But I think there's a practical limit. I mean, you still have to fit inside doors and such.
Well, I used to have a dog that liked to pick up dad's 6' tomato stakes and then try to take them into her dog pen through the gate. You just can't go through sideways.

Yeah - I get all that. I was referring specifically to the comment I replied to.

I bet they lay a lot of pipe the next 4 years. Oil prices won’t change.
