You don't have to relish her death to realize it may be just.

Eh, can't back you up on that one. She was arrested, on court supervision, and paid the money back. Honestly, it's debateable that she was educated enough (I'm mean she admitted the media of what she was doing), to know that she was committing a crime.

Now if you refering to her "buying the farm" due to her drug use, then ok... I might be able to go with that; though I wouldn't call it "just."

I don't to relish anyone's death either, but I certainly realize that the world is probably better off without some people too.

Unless they're trying to end the lives of my family or myself, it's not my choice to make.

    Sweet justice

    Really?

Thanks to her 'winfall', she paid more federal taxes on that, then the average LEO pays over his/her career.

Do you also relish in the death of LEO's too? In terms of funding the federal government via taxes, she is more productive in that sense than many INGO'ers and most LEO's.

That is a bizarre statement by far.

Her OD? Who cares? It's her life, I didn't see anywhere in the story where she harmed anyone when she killed herself. Justice? No wonder why our society is so screwed, you epitomize the attitude that is causing the destruction of America.

Zero value or respect for life.

I never really said what I thought one way or the other, I was more asking a question and seeing the different points of view. Personally, you use drugs and kill yourself, I would call it "poetic justice" more than anything.

What does this have to do with anything? I know you have to be smart enough to realize that he was referring to the "justice" of her ODing after bilking the taxpayers out of money by collecting food stamps. Where does how much she paid in taxes have anything to do with it? It's okay to steal from your neighbors as long as you pay taxes?

    :orly:

Nice to know that you wouldn't lift a finger to help your neighbor from becoming a victim of a murderous rampage.

Only if they're thug 17 year olds with scary twitter pics.

ETA: relishing in a death of an overdose victim has nothing to do with those seeking to harm others. It's not up to me to decide who deserves to live and who doesn't. Thus, I relish in no person's death, even if it's at my hands in self defense.

....and this has to do with my post, how?

I still find it disturbing that you wouldn't intervene, by use of deadly physical force if necessary, to stop a woman or child being raped at knife point......or an old man being beaten.........or a cop being executed.....or whatever.

Thanks for putting words in my mouth. You can deduce a lot from so little.

:+1: I never said anything about wanting LEOs to be killed.
