The usual suspects will swallow the article, hook line and sinker, without even clicking on the links to some of the news stories.

If they actually did click on the links, they would learn that there was a decided lack of information on the vaccination status of any of the people who suffered illness or death in most of the linked stories. I knew the article was more anti-vax fear porn after Hank Aaron (age 86, LOL) was listed as one of the "athletes" who suffered death bEcAuSe oF tHe vAcCiNaTiOn.

Several listed also supposedly died of the jab before the jab was widely available in their countries, which is weird.

One of the athletes in his 20's who died of a heart attack had a brother, also in his 20's, who died of a heart attack 3 years ago. Not sure which of the Covid vaccines is a time traveller.

    But yeah...lap it up.

I said it before, and I will say it again. Required jabs are a violation of the Nuremberg Code. This lady agrees: Ursula Van Der Leyen – the chief of the European Union (EU) Commission – told the press that she would like to see the Nuremberg Code ignored completely in favor of allowing countries to force vaccinate anyone who is refusing to take the experimental jab.

Yep, if they aren't in violation of the code, why would they want to ignore or get rid of it? Hmmm... :dunno:

Closer to your truth, I have no doubt.

The truth is hard to know. But articles with holes big enough to drive a Kenworth through are not a good foundation.

Without a doubt closer to my truth. There are side effects and they are both serious and prevalent, but you'd never know that from the media, big pharma or this administration. The article may not have been accurate, but it's about as accurate as saying there are no or very few side effects from the vaccines.

When the recent headlines have been about the whitehouse meeting with the media to reshape economic coverage you know to be very skeptical of the MSM and the admin. I'm sure there has been a fair bit of re-shaping going on about covid.

So we’re in agreement that CNN and NPR are not reliable sources.
Depends on the metric for "reliable." Seems to me, the litmus test here is "This link agrees with my opinion."

I don't suppose anyone looked deep enough into the posted article to see that it's just some jackleg with a do-it-yourself WordPress website. When an article has no author listed, I call that a clue. YMMV.

I'd say unreliable is indicated when a source has fabricated information in the past. CNN has. NPR has. But then so have many right wing sites. But you're right, it seems that when the news is agreeable to the person, it's reliable.

If they cite sources, and you can verify those sources independently, you can probably rely on the reporting. It doesn't matter if the source is some jackleg with a do-it-yourself WordPress. What matters is if you can verify the information. Some Jackleg can get it right. Also, some well staffed professional news media can outright lie and fabricate.
