We got 95% totality up here. It was amazing how light it was even with 95% of the sun covered.

Neat to hear all the animals and birds think it was nighttime then the owls think it's morning.

Not sure I'd have traveled far for it though. I mean, I'm a changed man! It was such a moving experience!

Seriously though, casted a few lines before and after, took a video during and Catfish Hunter made an appearance (I haven't seen him in months)!

That was super cool! I mean, I wouldn't have traveled for it either but I'm glad I got done with work in time to get home. Now I'm enjoying watching the traffic filter on Google maps slowly turn red around the city...

one of the most interesting scenes of this eclipse was just and hour or two ago, I counted over 40 contrails/vapor-trails in the sky. with how calm it is around me, it was a surprisingly uncomfortable and eerie skyline to be honest

Chemtrails? Noticed a lot more of them this morning.

agreed. How one cannot experience a celestial event like this and not be even slightly impressed with nature/god/whatever blows me away. Just how broken and jaded do you have to be?

EDIT: the lack of zombies though is very sad.
