The push for EVs is a stop-gap measure towards the elite’s real goal.

Don't think I seen this posted

In addition, large multifamily residential buildings like a block of apartments or condos that are being renovated by a developer converting it into an association must have "100% of its total parking spaces EV-capable."
That is idiotic. A good level 2 charger is 50-60A per parking spot. Instead they will install cheaper ones that work for :poop:, plus won't be used before they are either obsolete or break.

The movie Minority Report had a system in it. The cars could be driven manually if you were off the grid, but on grid you had no control. Just a big conveyor. Might as well go to all mass transit at that point
An advantage would be it would be your car and available shen you want and take you exactly where you want. Sort of like a cab with no call ahead and waiting/uncertainty. When you get in the car, you'd program the destination and it would get yo there or near there and ideally let you take over at a certain point to park.

China is stupid. There are literally bah-zillions of woke idiots in the us who would buy those. Why wouldnthey let cash sit in a field like that?

Heck, why even spend the hundreds of millions marketing them in the US when you have a president who sells policy?

Just pay the big guy to write an EO requiring Americans to buy the Chinese EV’s if they work for any company that does business with the US government. Make it an EPA rule. It might be a bit more expensive than paying the big guy to get Ukraine to fire an inconvenient investigator. But certainly it’s cheaper than paying for the marketing.

Ford is losing approximately $34,000 per EV sold.

VW is cutting back on production of EVs in Germany and pausing plans to launch a new model due to customer "reticence" to buy.

The roads in London are crumbling and the bridges are at risk of literally falling down under the weight of EVs .

This is the same reason that the IndyGo Redline route is being rebuilt. Maybe instead of hiring flower sniffing, tree hugging hippies for the consulting work, they should hire you know like, real engineers and stuff. The guys with pocket protectors.

OK. Here's one for you. A lady in Fort Wayne called an agency for help with her electric car. She needed it towed to her friend's home so she could charge it. :)
