Not exactly.. the Chinese created it.. there is imperical data for that but I believe democrats were involved in funding the research the Chinese did and also they intentionally hid knowledge of the virus and purposefully facilitated its spread to here and other nations.

I voted for that leadership because we conservatives sent a war hero, then a liberal business man as our nominees, both were gentlemem, but the democrats and their press maligned these men beyond recognition, calling them every vile name in the book. In 2016 the republican primary had an entire stage full of these nice guys that always finish last, the republican voters said, not this time, we are sending a bully to bully the left back.

I am am pleased with the result and hope for four more years...

Can you imagine if Trump just sat back all meek and mild and 'Presidential' during the debate, nobody would have acknowledged that but the narrative would have been how Joe dominated or rolled over Trump etc.

It looks like trump may have been right to ask for someone to check for ear pieces and wires before the debate.

There may be some other legitimate explanation for the hardware, (medical monitoring?) but it would help explain why Biden did better than expected. Well that and all the help Trump gave by interrupting him when he was in trouble.

So pretty much the same thing CNN has been screaming for 4 years.

Honestly, in 2020, debates are pretty pointless. We have so much information at our fingertips, we all already know who we are voting for. Although, it is entertaining watching trump beat up Biden for an hour and a half.

Exactly, years ago before the internet and the rabidly biased media we have today the debates were actually useful in that they might be the only time you could hear where the candidates stood directly from them, now with a 24/7 news cycle, the internet, and bustling social media, the debates are pretty archaic. Nobody at this point is undecided, that's a joke.

I went to sleep before the debate. I'm glad I missed it.

But, it certainly appears that no one can claim that Sleepy Joe has dementia. And the few clips I saw of The Donald show that the man has no idea was presidential dignity is all about.

The debates weren't to have you or I change our votes...so our opinions really mean squat. The debate last night was for those who might change their mind and vote for the other candidate.

I think Joe Biden won that part of the electorate last night.

As to whether we should have another debate....I would say that the country doesn't need to appear so ugly to the rest of the world. Cancel the remaining two debates.

Maybe he's just tongue tied at how smoothly it all went or not able to get his head to stop bobbling in disbelief that he's not still up there on the podium.

Perhaps it's just my advanced age; I no longer gawk while passing fatalities on the hwy nor watch what I'm sure will be a train wreck on live TV.

I doubt that 1/2 of 1% of the voting populace was swayed enough last evening to change their vote and if they hadn't already made up their mind by then, they're probably among those who don't know until they actually vote, who they're gonna vote for.

So is biden for or against the green new deal?
is biden for or against defunding the police?
He answered both ways so I guess it’s multiple choice...

yea, I haven’t watched the debates the last couple elections because they are just opportunities to sling mud and try to get a couple of one-liners in for the news highlight reel... no real presentation of platform or policy. But I tuned in last night because I figured it would be a popcorn-worthy **** show (and it did not disappoint!)

I have not wasted time watching any of these for years. It's a poorly run dog and pony show that is a joke run by joke moderators, If anyone uses the current debates to make a decision on who to vote for that is truly unfortunate.

He doesn’t have time to answer that. Or stacking the courts, “I’m not gonna answer that”.

Trump should’ve said, “well what did they tell you to say in your notes?!”

Our entire political process has become a really bad reality tv show. I’m still voting for Trump, don’t much care for him, but no way will I vote for a socialist agenda, which is exactly what the Dems are offering up. No matter my feelings on Tump, at least he isn’t a socialist.

So, liberals say Biden won, republicans say trump won.

Shocker. There’s really no point in debating who won or lost, both sides have dug in and know who they’re voting for. There are no undecided voters, no matter what some may say.

Yeah, really don't like Trump as a person, but I like what he's done with taxes and the economy.
Better Trump than Komerade Kamala. "Tax those who have more until everyone has the same" is not good policy.

I didn't watch the **** show but from the looks of the internet this AM the real loser in the whole thing was Wallace who is getting hammered from both sides.

This. Trump needs to attack the ideas and policy, not the man. He just can't help but interrupt and go after Joe, which makes Joe a sympathetic figure.

No, the President certainly didn’t win this one. He gave no views on policy or what a second term would entail... or maybe he did, but it was lost due to his antics. Biden on the other hand, won by simply remaining standing and giving coherent answers. The Trump campaign played it up as if Biden was tired, weak, and half senile... none of that was evident.

Sure, until Biden tells Trump to shut up, or calls him a racist, or a murderer, or a liar, or a clown... in those exact words. I guess we all just see what we want to see? :dunno:

Those types of statements on both sides are why this debate, other than being entertaining, was a waste of time. I can't see any opinions being swayed by what happened. This will be another election where undecideds show up to vote against the other guy.

In fact, I'd say the only real winner was Biden's tailor. Man that was a good looking suit. Too bad there was a total scumbag inside it, but... that's true for all 3 of them. Wallace's suit looked like garbage.

    ----

Anyhow... It was fun watching the debate the next day and reading the INGO comments from the prior night as the debate proceeded. I appreciate the entertainment, folks! ...even Kut being wrong about everything! ;)

And with that, I will now slowly back step out of the political section and hope to resist the urge to return. I still like all of you guys and would like it to stay that way.

Being a voter in this country we still are "Obligated" to take part. Those who sit on their thumbs for what ever reason disgust me.

The choices have sucked for years.

I disagree somewhat, not voting is also a choice, a vote if you will for the status quo. A vote that one is free and do not have to do an exercise if they don't wish. I have always believed that a significant portion of democratic voters were uninformed and voted emotionally under the influence of others. I also believe that the left also believes that as well due to their constant efforts to "get out the vote". Just who is get out the vote directed at if not the uninformed? Who is sitting at home fully informed on the candidates and issues and going to just blow off voting?
