I just want you to leave me the hell alone.
I'm sure Obama will give you special dispensation after you help re-elect him.

You got a point. I was researching each canidets stance on the 2nd since it looks like its going to be between Mitt and Obama. But im still going to vote for RP.
I'm sure Obama will give you special dispensation after you help re-elect him.
The main objective is to get Obama out of office...
Most of you will be nowhere in this forum to be found once your man Romney starts trampling our rights or is getting ready to sign terrible legislation.
Not mathematically.
The reality as I see it is that the Establishment will push us towards fascism no matter which of these elites get to sit in the Oval Office. Republicans brought us gigantic new Federal agencies, checkpoints across America, the Patriot Act, expansive wars, and more. Our civil liberties take an absolute beating because of the Republicans' drive for Order and Security. I don't feel wistful when thinking about going back to total GOP control. Being a "winner" for a cause I don't agree with doesn't really appeal to me.A vote for the anti-establishment is a vote for the loser.
We can play these stupid semantics all day. When you'd like to discuss reality, we've saved a seat for you.
Shrinking No Child Left Behind, multiple initiatives toward decriminalizing drugs, steps forward for marriage equality, etc. In my county, the local Democrats are more fiscally conservative (whereas the GOP pushes for building expensive passenger railroads), so I have supported them on a selective basis.Tell me one thing Democrats have done in the past 4 years that the Libertarian party stands for.
Demonstrably false.Amen, no Republican president is ever going to go after the 2nd amendment.
Romney isn't a friend to my cause. He can pander, but he can't change his stripes.Attacking your friends as if they were your enemies simply illustrates that you don't understand that.
There are tons of Republicans who are ready to regulate the internet all the same.If you vote for anyone other than Romney, you are effectively voting for a liberal supreme court. If and when that happens we will be lucky if we are able to post on this forum in another couple of years. Cheers to you.
I'm on the North end of the political diamond. The Left and the Right both cringe at my values.Ok, see if you can follow along. You have the left. They all like thier guy. You have the right. They split their votes among two candidates. If both sides are about equal who will win? Come on, you can do it.
Tell me one thing Democrats have done in the past 4 years that the Libertarian party stands for.
This is going to be a close race guys. I don't care if you like Romney. Vote against Obama, by voting for Romney if that makes you feel better, no problem. If you do not vote for Romney, then you are responsible for Obama being reelected, plain and simple.
Technically I am a Libertarian, but I'm not stupid enought to vote outside the two party system in a presidential election. Maybe in ten years a third party will have enough momentum to matter, but it isn't reality now.
Where is this momentum going to come from if nobody starts voting for a third party candidate in the general election?
You'll know it when you see it. The vast majority of voters aren't there yet. I'm not sure where I read it, but if you're the only one out in the street calling for revolution, it's not time yet
My view is most wish to simply right the ship at this point. The progressives took 100 years to get us to this point, the public's perception isn't going to turn very quickly.
