They're done around me, need to head north. When I as at Purdue, I had a great place to mushroom hunt, was told that place now is a highway west of campus. Would love to head back there a look around but can't justify the 2.5 hrs. Drive.

They're done at my getaway in Owen county. This year was terrible, and my neighbors all report the same sad season. I usually harvest 6X what I did this year.

However, here's my final tribute to the season ..... from salt water bath, to on the plate !

Found 6 small grays on Sunday...not good so far but think we may have a little more time in Hamilton county.

The snake heads where huge this year and all stem....left them in the woods.

Fried up our first batch tonight. Took me three trips for about 4 hours total to find enough for a meal. We got one good rain then nothing. A good rain and they will pop again up here.
