    And now it is reported that the Dems are not going to return to vote. If this true, they abandoned their job that they were elected to do! They should be fired!!!!!! if only we could.

    Childish to say the least. A sad day for our political system.

    Quick, lock the doors.

    So what happens when they don't show up?

    Can they still vote, and is it like an automatic-abstain?

    Or is it frowned upon to hold a vote without everyone present?

    Question for constitutional scholars. Could it be argued and won in court that a favorable judicial committee vote would fulfill the constitutional requirement for Senate "advice & concent"?
    Nothing is mentioned about numbers of a full Senate vote correct?

    I never served in the military but with or without your permission I am literally LMAO.....You're on a roll Alpo....

    :laugh::laugh::laugh:

    And as always THANK YOU for your service.....:ingo:

    There is nothing wrong with not being selected to go to that wonderful tropical climate, but people died because they were selected. A senator shouldn't **** on the lives of those who made the sacrifice.

    And that is one HELL of a lot more severe than a little teenage rubbing which seems to outrage this proven LIAR.

    Montgomery County (Md) police chief and prosecutor release letter

    What are the chances more "evidence" shows up in the coming year, and an effort to remove Kavanaugh from SCOTUS goes through?

    My take is that the "Senate" means the "Senate". Unless the Senate has made a rule that a committee vote speaks for the chambers (which, I think, they could do, but have not), then the full Senate has to vote.
