Was walking around Gander Mountain in Merrilville tonight and saw two Doubletap pistols in the case! One was 45ACP and the other 9mm. Price was $499 each. For a split second I almost bought the 45. Decided to walk away. I think $499 is a bit salty for what it is. Yes, I took a picture for proof.:D

Learn something new everytime i log in! I agree with that price tag being a bit salty. For that money and in that size I think i'd buy a North American arms .22mag revolver, or maybe a Bersa Thunder .380.

I don't have little hands either, I wear XL gloves. Just to give you an idea of the size.

For $529 you can get a brand new Glock 30SF with (2) 10rd mags....Dont ask me how I know this. Im still catching hell for it, from a girlfriend that apparently THINKS she wears the pants around here. :D

Wow, and people say Glocks are ugly. That is different, but like everyone else, it's pricey for what it is. The mechanics are simple and the price typically reflects that, but not this time apparently.

Cool pistol... looks nice and thin. $499 is super salty tho... $199 would be the most I would pay for one I think.

For $499 I'd get an XDs

Wandered into the new Gander last week.
Lots of nice stuff, all at typical overinflated Gander prices.
No plans on going back unless something in a sales flyer catches my eye.

Saw them in the gun rags, figured it was just another born to fail product that would never see the gun shelves. Guess I was wrong!

Don't think I want one at this time........

Just by looking at, it seems they may have dropped the whole"both barrels at the same time" gimmick and just went with alternating barrels per trigger pull.

Looks like it's bigger than my Kahr .380, and only has two shots. Neat concept, but I think it's too big and too expensive for what it does.
