OK. So I just typed a long trip report and this website crashed and took my work.
    Don't have time to retype.
Here are the quick bullet points.
Thank you all for the suggestions we really appreciate them.
Drove down on Saturday with my wife for a quick get away for just us two.
Walked around the historic district. Very nice and friendly.
We toured the Lanier Mansion. Wonderful tour reasonably priced. Open every year around. You should tour it if your in the area.
Ate at Franco's Italian restaurant for dinner. Wished we'd gone to the Downtowner instead. My wife said her food was OK, but my Spaghetti was not good. Service was reasonable.
Stayed at the Comfort Inn on the West side of town. Customer service was top notch. Rooms have recently been remodeled. All and all for budget stay it was very reasonable. Would stay there again. Picked this place specifically so I could get some pool time into practice for a PRT standard test. Might have done a few cannon balls just for fun to.
On the way back home we stopped at Edingburgh Outlet malls. Spent more money there then the rest of the trip.
