I think people are mostly just mad that life kind of sucks during a pandemic [communist takeover attempt], and maybe a bit that Trump lost [was cheated] Then there is the fact that this country is more polarized than it has ever been [in dire need of a ***** slap]...that doesn't help much.

The conversation about a possible hemorrhagic fever outbreak influenced me to look up Marburg and Ebola and Lassa. None of them bind to ACE2 for cell entry, so likely unrelated to WuVid (unless there is another level 3 or lower lab doing gain of function research in that area)

The bad news would be that Marburg and Ebola both bind to a cholesterol transporter protein called NPC1 - and just how many Americans have high cholesterol?

We should probably just nuke China from orbit. It's the only way to be sure

Currently dealing with the mutated virus now. I can tell you from this experience that the global media is turning this into something that it isn’t. There has to be a reason, and if I was a betting man, I would bet the reason wouldn’t benefit the general population.

Sitting here with COVID. Probably the OhMyGodocrom. Have nothing except a burning smell stuck in my nose and a slight cough. Took all 3 shots because of personal reasons. Also got a flu shot because I damn near died the last time I got the flu. So far it's no big deal.

Will be helping a friend tomorrow who just lost his wife to COVID. Very sad situation.

This current wave of OMICRON should peak in two weeks and then start tapering off over three weeks. Hopefully, this will be the last wave and we can get back to something close to normal by summer.
