I think the blue cities complaining about receiving illegal aliens bussed from the border states are simply vying for fed dollars. Woe is us. Resources are tight. We're a victim. BS. They just want more and more fed dollars.

No, They specifically said its a border issue, not an in-country issue. They want more illegals to turn into dem voters eventually, and they want the border states to deal with it. Kinda like encouraging your brother in law to buy a boat so you can borrow it sometimes.

They think about immigrant crisis like they do a flooding crisis, wildfire crisis, etc. Everyone should pay their own way and cover their own disaster costs. Minnesota shouldnt have to pay for California's wildfires. NY shouldnt have to pay for LA and MS' flooding along the Mississippi. And they would counter that IN shouldnt have to pay for NYC's gang issues.

They want to sit up there with no real crisis to speak of to pay for, all the while encouraging behavior that others have to foot the bill on. They want the benefit of a new pool of Dem voters, without paying the price for it.
