    I always carry concealed in theatres. Note to self: Bring an extra magazine next time.

    and a really bright flashlight.

    Also choose your seating location carefully. Remember if the fire alarm goes off it is likely not for a fire but some other reason they want to evacuate the theater.

    I don't know if it's the ideal spot or not, but I sit all the way in the back against the wall. I am the master of all I survey.

    I heard on the radio, that someone, somewhere, thinks that the .gov., should buy up all the private owned weapons, and then tax guns, and ammo, out of reach of the people .....

    How do they think this can be done..... bho, done SPENT ALL the MONEY !!!!!

    Louisiana cinema shooting: Lafayette gunman 'had violent past' - BBC News

    So the perpetrator;
    - was a felon (arson)
    - involuntarily committed
    - history of domestic abuse
    - was denied a CCW permit
    - ignored a 'No Guns' sign
    So on at least three points he was ineligible to pass a NICS background check. I can't wait to hear how universal background checks would have prevented this...

    I think at this point the gun control freaks are praying to Mother Earth that he got his gun via the "gun show loophole".

    Well that's exactly what the rich eletes want. They have their armed entourages yet still want to limit the average person's access to guns.

    Impossible. There were laws that made it illegal for him to own one, loophole or no.
