Find yourself some fiction books you enjoy reading. This will help you think about what you are preparing for then you can fine tune your real world resources and skills.

The internet is a great resource once you know what crisis you are planning for. But just like any books you buy you need to know what you are planning for and just because someone has written a book (or internet post) does not mean their recommendation is right for you.

This was an entertaining fiction series of books although I lost interest after the first few books.

Seems to me they were initially printed latec60s early 70s....so, right around 50 yes old
Dang. 1972 was the first one. I guess the copies that my step dad had/has must've been improperly stored for several years before I saw them. They were musty and "old" back in the early/mid 90s when I saw them!
