    Well... I was half right.

That’s not an issue, right? Hell, she was even a Republican. It’s probably long overdue replacing some of our money with different American heroes. Washington should be the only one who is perpetual.

Indeed I'm kind of fond of the variety of bills that other countries have.

As to Washington on the one dollar note - I think the dollar bill should be replaced entirely by a coin, thus saving the tax payers millions.

You think striking a coin is cheaper than printing a bill?
Neither the Eisenhower Dollar (about the size of the pre-1935 silver “Peace” dollars) or the Sacajawea Dollar (too close to the size of the quarter dollar) received much public acceptance.

The Treasury is supposed to have run comparisons of the overall life cost of a dollar coin vs. the overall life cost of a dollar bill; and while I think the 25+ year lifespan of a coin gives it a life cost advantage over the bill, people want dollar bills in their wallets instead of dollar coins in their pockets.

It's only an issue if you think Trump shouldn't also be on a bill.

If you find that concept distasteful, then maybe this current time in history isn't the right time to be replacing icons.

She was the last time you saw a bill pre-2000 in circulation?

I’m a proponent of the “dead people on money” theory, so Trump shouldn’t be on a bill. If history rehabilitates his presidency, after he’s had his ride on the bobsled to hell, fine, he can go on a bill.

People wouldn't be that opposed to a $1 coin in actual usage if we weren't idiots about it.

For some reason this country is obsessed with making coins gigantic. If we made it the same size as the pound, it wouldn't be a problem.

Not the point I was trying to make; there is no doubt of the much longer lifespan of coinage vs. paper money. I could live with dollar coins, but I’m apparently one of the very few who would.

I do have a series 2001 dollar bill from when my old Alcoa boss Paul H. O’Neill was SecTreas—but only because someone stamped a speech balloon on the front side that had Washington saying:

    ”I Grew Hemp”

The dollar coin is 26 mm & 8 grams, vs 23 mm & 8.75 grams for the 1 pound coin.

The Euro coin is 23.25 mm & 7.5 grams.

So, it's not that gigantic. Now the half dollar is really big.

Clearly ...because he was recognized on the Democrat Socialists of America website. Are you able to tell me which tenets, observed by Democratic Socialists, are cited in that article, and explain why you disagree with them? I ask, because many people can't do so, and when they dig a little deeper, they find out that they are already are, or very close to being, a Democratic Socialist themselves. So, do you care to humor me? If not, on your own time, look up Democratic Socialism, at least as defined from the late 20th century to now.
Is this AOC's definition of Democrat socialism? Or are you referring to Obama's definition? Bernie's definition? Lol, Democrat socialism is made up so you feel better and tell yourself its not the horror show that history proves it is. If you actually talk to people, almost no one lives their life as a democratic socialist. They live their lives as conservatives. They go to work, pay their bills, don't steal from their neighbor to pay their kids college, dont steal from their neighbor to pay for their doctor bills, don't steal from their neighbor to pay for gender studies in Pakistan, don't steal......I think that's pretty clear. And yet the Democrat socialists all complain about the same things....roads are garbage, public schools are terrible and producing low ranked kids, police need to be defunded and racist..... All are socialist programs!!! How can this be??? How can Democrat socialism be so wonderful if everything socialist in this country is broke and terrible??? Must be those republicans fault right? Yeah those republicans who run public schoo....uuhhh wait no, ok those racists in minnesota that run the poli......uuhh ok wait no no no, health care, yeah those horrible doctors in the AMA, yeah those that all went along with Obamacare then their systems laid off hundred in workers, IU laid off I think 900, community laid off maybe 600, ST V. Similar, all thanks to Democrat socialism. Ok so, maybe it's socializing energy for the win!! Oh a wind farm operates carbon negative and loses money, man those darn republicans, well let's just scream racists for years and hope that works. Let's put out outrageous "news" articles that our followers can copy and paste so they think they know what's up. Cuz muh racism. Yikes. I've talked with countless people over the years, the very few who think they are Democrat socialists really are, and they don't work, they don't do anything but vote to take other people's money. Selfishness is the true definition of Democrat socialism.

You mentioned at Democratic Socialists complain about roads, garbage, and public schools. You are indeed correct. Might I ask if you’ve ever, since assuredly not a Democratic Socialist, complained about the same things? If you have, has most typical response been “I wish ‘they’d’ fix it,” or “I wish they’d do away with it all together?” Hell, I’ll even give you a third option, “I wish these services were all privatized, universally.”
