I don’t think most people will catch what’s so funny about it... but sometimes people surprise me.

I have to do the turkey for the family thanksgiving and work thanksgiving this year. I’m going to deep fry both, so I picked up 3 turkeys so I can do a test run today. The smoked turkey I did last month was great, but everyone is wanting deep fried so that’s what we’re going with.

Picked up 6 bottles of tony chachere injection to try. Should be going in the fryer around 3-4.

I use pecan for everything, or hickory as a close second.

I use hickory for most things, I've done turkey with pecan and it was good. Hickory if you're not careful with some lighter things can be a bit much. Also just about any fruit wood is good.
