      Appleseed events in Northern IN?

Appleseed sounds like something I would possibly check out, but I haven't seen any events very close to me. Any plans to come to NWI next year? Or possibly to Lafayette again?

      Riley Appleseed: November 28-29

We are three weeks from the last Appleseed weekend shoot of 2009 and some big names are coming to Riley in order to train on that weekend. It will be a little nippy, but I would prefer to shoot in this weather than July's blazing heat any day. Think of it as our Valley Forge! Come, burn up...

      Next Time Around Wabash?

Hello, I thought that I was told at the last shoot that the next time there will be another shoot around Wabash will be in April 2010. I'm not seeing this on the official schedule. Is this correct? If not, when is the spring shoot for this local? Josh <><

What a great weekend! Day 1: Saturday I woke up early Saturday morning and drove up north to Wabash in the dark looking forward to another great shoot with a bunch of northern Hoosiers. The whole way I was thinking about the shoots that I attended at the Wabash range and the time there...

Appleseed Radio to Host Aaron Zelman, Head of JPFO!

I am excited to announce next weeks guest on the weekly Appleseed Radio program will be none other than Aaron Zelman, head of the JPFO (Jews for the Preservation of Firearms Ownership). For those who do not know the JPFO, it is one of the most aggresive gun rights programs in the US and you can...

Hello, Myself and a buddy from out of town are participating in the Wabash Appleseed shoot this weekend (Oct 17/18). I have been able to locate the 8:30 am start time, but I cannot find a ballpark of when the daily shoots end? Mid afternoon? Dinner time? Sundown? Have searched the ASinfo...

Appleseed Training Military: Fort Stewart, GA Oct 5-9 AAR

Now that it is over, I am proud to publicly make an AAR that warms my heart in a very special way. A few months ago, the US Military asked Project Appleseed to come to a Fort Stewart, GA and teach soldiers preparing for a deployment overseas. With humility, 10 of our best answered the call...

      Someone Who Gets It

via David Codrea comes a story out of Shelby County Alabama. A sheriff with a great attitude towards gun owners and the 2nd Amendment. Reminds me of my local sheriff, except he never sponsors cool events like this. :yesway: More at the source, plus a link to pics.

Techres in Ohio a.k.a. Appleseed AAR: Gibsonburg, OH August 22-23

I know this is not an Indiana shoot, but there was one Hoosier there and that is enough to make the whole thing a Hoosier event! Appleseed AAR: Gibsonburg, OH August 22-23 I rolled into Gibsonburg early Saturday morning to find IIT Posterboy waiting for me and IIT Peacemaker already...

Can I go to an Appleseed if I am overweight?

We get this question alot, often via PM. Some potential shooters fear that our school of training is only for the young & athletically fit. Let me say that our school of training is for everyone: old or young, thin or fat, experienced or newbie, liberal or conservative, men or women. What...

What's the Difference between a Mini and a full Appleseed?

Recently this question has come up and the answer will be added to the FAQ, but I wanted to make the difference clear: Mini's are intended to be an introduction and followup on the full Appleseed events. The course of instruction for a mini includes: Prone Position Sling use for the Prone...

      Sorry, more questions

Ok, the only centerfire I own is a HiPoint 995. I was thinking of just bringing .22s. Would this be ok? And, how usually are the days split up? Wondering about coming one day or 2 days. I can get there both days, but why 2 days? Do we train one and shoot one?
