I would like to see Indiana start a primitive hunting season in (September for deer and maybe earlier than normal for small game). That way people have ANOTHER opportunity to get out and hunt.
You have to have 144 square inches of hunter orange on all sides of the blind (12inch X 12inch). A flag on top will not be counted. The thought behind this is because if it is a flag and the wind is blowing you would not see much of the hunter orange if looking from the direction the wind is...

This is very true. Also good luck finding anyone in Indiana that has hogs and will actually let you hunt them. I have heard others say that they know of a couple farms that have them but the farmers, family and friends want to hunt them. We do not have enough of them in Indiana at this time...
I wish it was that easy for me. I have a family of 4 and we go through at least 3 deer a year. However we eat it all of the time. I doubt there is a week all year where we do not eat something with deer meat in it. We also make a lot of jerky. my mouth is watering now.
