It's never gonna end
It's never gonna end
It doesn't make any sense if the purpose for the mandates is to protect an employer's workers from covid, for the sake of argument, assuming that vaccines do that. If the purpose of the mandates is to get a shot in the arms of as many people as possible, without regard to any other reasoning, then it makes sense. The administration is using this to make a de facto mandate because they're not gonna get such a thing through the system legitimately. And there is plenty of upside to pharma companies left on the table. How is that supposed to make any sense (I realize government isn't liable to that constraint)
Wait. There’s a new variant?
Heh. Guess I didn’t give a **** about the original Covid and I could give a **** less about the new Covid. Stop researching, stop wearing masks, stop reading articles and watching interviews. Let it die, give it no attention, live your lives like you did in 2018, and let the liberals scurry to find some other way to grab power.
Kirk and JK can keep their masks on and a booster shot next to their epi pens, but for the rest of us if we keep giving sheep attention they’ll keep coming up with new ways to keep it going.
I saw the source and the date of the article (Aug 1) and thought this was the Israeli study, which reflects what I posted. This is an article reported in an Israeli media site on a US study conducted in Ohio."The authors concluded that vaccination after natural infection is unlikely to have any benefit for recovered COVID patients."
“Individuals who have had SARS-CoV-2 infection are unlikely to benefit from COVID-19 vaccination, and vaccines can be safely prioritized to those who have not been infected before.”
"By contrast, Israelis who were vaccinated were 6.72 times more likely to get infected after the shot than after natural infection, with over 3,000 of the 5,193,499, or 0.0578%, of Israelis who were vaccinated getting infected in the latest wave."
That is from the article. Doesn't say anything about a first or second shot. Says they are unlikely to benefit from the vaccine period, and that the vaccine should be given to those who have never been infected.
Two thousand twenty twenty, party over, oops out of timelive your lives like you did in 2018
I don't wear a mask. Why do you claim I do?Wait. There’s a new variant?

Be honest, you just want a reason to wear purple. Two thousand twenty twenty, party over, oops out of time
So tonight we're gonna party like it's pre-Covid-one-nine!
I don't wear a mask. Why do you claim I do?
Mask was a good idea, pre-vaccines, but the stop gap is done.
I disagree. The vaccine does prevent the spread of the virus. Masking does make a difference, how big a difference, well, remains to be seen. That doesn't make any sense. The vaccine doesn't prevent the spread of the virus, so why would it make a difference from a masking perspective? Masks were a good idea only when we thought the virus wasn't airborne. After we knew it was airborne masks became nothing more than a virtue signaling device.

Masks were a good idea, especially in crowed public places, but the government handled it poorly and with outright lies.
The good news about the latest mutation is that is seems to be the mildest of the herd. Let's hope the trend continues.
Anyone with remaining questions about the effectiveness of masks should Google the word "micron".
Micron is a unit of measurement and it involves incredibly small particles.
Now, with that information, search the size of a virus particle.
You can make your own conclusions.
No they weren’t. They were thought to be a good idea by the masses who listened to ideological hypocrites flapping their gums. Surgical and N95 masks were somewhat a good idea. Cloth masks weren’t a good idea. Ever.I don't wear a mask. Why do you claim I do?
