Black friend of mine from work was talking at break today. Said his mom, who is 75 years old, called him last night to talk. She got on the subject of CRT and asked if he had read any of it. He said he hasn’t, but he’s heard about it... he said she told him she grew up during real racism and the civil rights movement and didn’t agree with a word of it. She said it’s meant for one thing only, to reignite racism and keep us divided.


Of course, media will never have opinions like hers be broadcast to the country.

the wisdom of the old heads is priceless.

i came of age when racism became more pshycological. it was used to keep POC from realizing their full mental potential. the black leaders did not understand how to combat it so they started the victim mentality.

today's racism is used by the "just enoughs" of all colors to deny responsibility for self.

crt supporters are only now, in the past few weeks, beginning to actually offer any solutions to the problems of racism. it's like they have to justify thwir stance after the fact. and it is only the POC who have not suffered from true racism that are speaking out.

his mother is 100% correct. today's cry of racism is only used to divide us again. we only need to talk honestly with each other to fix it. by honestly, i mean BE OURSELVES.

I'm not gonna say that there are no privileges that some Whites have over Blacks or other races. But there is WAY more privilege between other demographics. Wealthy White and Black people are more privileged than poor Whites and Blacks. I mean. That's just a truism. Being poor is a disadvantage in life. Similarly, Whites and Blacks who come from intact homes tend to have better success statistically, therefore more privilege, than those who come from broken families. Coming from a broken home is a disadvantage in life, for various reasons.

The idea of "white privilege" is ******** in that it seeks to assert that "whiteness" alone is a bigger factor in privilege than all the other factors. It's purpose is to get people to believe that they're oppressed, because that's what cultural Marxism and Critical theory require. You can't have a revolution when people don't want to revolt because they don't feel like they're oppressed. So along comes the concept of "whiteness" in CRT, as an oppressive force that divides races. Same with critical gender theory. Queer theory. Whatever.

Intersectional oppression divides people into groups of oppressor and oppressed so that the oppressed become awakened into a higher consciousness and will revolt against their oppressors.

Don’t let them lie it’s not voluntary. They are being told they must attend. On their off time not under contract. This is first hand knowledge

To add to this, all HSE teachers were required to read “Waking up White”, attend sessions and then each state something they were sorry about because of their privilege. Wife was very angry about it but if she wanted to keep her job…. And they are one of the highest paying school districts in the state. With 22 years teaching behind her getting rehired elsewhere is a challenge.

If you don't want CRT taught. Stop voting for ****ing Democrats. Don't vote for Democrat presidents, national legislatures, governors, state legislatures, mayors, county commissioners, judges, prosecutors, school board, or even ****ing dog catchers, if such a thing were an elected office. Not that Republicans are all that great. They're not. They're slimy mealy mouthed ********ers too. But they're also not far left racist ideologues hell bent on creating a cultural Marxian utopia by any means necessary, or enablers of such. Every Democrat politician is at least that. What Democratic candidates are calling out that nonsense rather than claiming it doesn't exist, at best, or doing their due praxis, at worst? Just say no to that ****. Say no to Democrats. it is a lot worse now days. that is sooo wrong to focus on brainwashing our teachers. they can no longer teach the three r's because the woke generation wants to teach our kids white vs black.

did they complete the slap in the face by excluding the non-white teachers? to make it equal, the non-white educators should have been forced to write an essay about self responsibility and include instances of them practicing and encouraging POC to be self responsible.

That's just not part of the program. Equality and Equity mean something different in Wokish. The goal is to tear down current institutions and replace them with woke institutions. They don't really care about anything else, like fairness or reason. There's no reasoning with them because they think reason is a tool of oppressors, and that the "lived experience" of oppressed minorities is the only source of truth that matters.
