Most white people are just ready to be over the whole thing, but then they're called racists for advocating "colorblindness".
They are also called racists if they don't acknowledge guilt for their white privileges and become radical activists for the cultural revolution.

it's as much due to victimhood being embraced as anything else
I don't think you can be cognizant of such tragic events for prosperous blacks as East St. Louis in 1918 and Tulsa in 1921 and believe that statement. Much like with the Armenians, it is difficult to move on when the other side won't even acknowledge anything untoward happened, the difference being one was official Turkish government policy while the others were local in origin (although state government also turned a blind eye)

The truth lies somewhere between 'nothing happened for blacks to feel victimized by' and 'the actions taint all of US history and any good works that have come of it'

1619 was 157 years before the Declaration of Independence, I am at pains to discern why one taints the other. Ditto the 3/5s compromise, which came 21 years after the declaration
Liberalism (enlightenment principles, not left wing wackos) greatly influenced the constitution. The ideas were/are good. The implementation was incomplete. So that's not an indictment of the ideas as much as an indictment of the state of the world in that time, not having the moral maturation that developed later. There was no "original sin". The CRT academics use that phrasing a lot in their literature. It's ideological ********.

Denying white privilege is called white fragility. Yeah. They have a name for everything and a way that everything is racist.

Context is lacking. I said "Some aftereffects remain, but to me, it's as much due to victimhood being embraced as anything else."

I'm talking about now, not in the past. Nowadays while there are still some aftereffects of slavery and overt racism, blacks have the same opportunities as whites in the US. A lot of them will deny this, due to the level of indoctrination they have been taught by family, friends and such. That indoctrination tells them that they are victims and cannot have success because the white man has all the power. That's not true and hasn't been for a long time. We've had equality for a while, but just like in feminism, equality isn't good enough.

Can you explain to its what is being taught in the mainstream for CRT?

(Sensational stories about wacko gender studies teachers don't count.)
Part of the toolkit includes a list of ways "white supremacy culture" allegedly "infiltrates math classrooms." Those include "the focus is on getting the 'right' answer," students being "required to 'show their work,'" and other alleged manifestations.

"The concept of mathematics being purely objective is unequivocally false, and teaching it is even much less so," the document for the "Equitable Math" toolkit reads. "Upholding the idea that there are always right and wrong answers perpetuate objectivity as well as fear of open conflict."
An associated "Dismantling Racism" workbook, linked within the toolkit, similarly identifies "objectivity" -- described as "the belief that there is such a thing as being objective or ‘neutral'" -- as a characteristic of White supremacy.

Instead of focusing on one right answer
, the toolkit encourages teachers to "come up with at least two answers that might solve this problem."

It adds: "Challenge standardized test questions by getting the 'right' answer, but justify other answers by unpacking the assumptions that are made in the problem."

Remind me not to rely on any aircraft or bridges or multistory buildings designed via antiracist mathematics
It also encourages teachers to "center ethnomathematics," which includes a variety of guidelines. One of them instructs educators to "identify and challenge the ways that math is used to uphold capitalist, imperialist, and racist views."

This is just one of a number of examples of the CRT tenant that uses racism as the prism to analyze all aspects of American life.

Can you please show me where CRT “paints all White people as racist,” or any of the other criticisms made in this thread? It appears to me that CRT is guilty more of hurt people’s feelings than pushing forward a racist narrative that for some reason no one can seem to cite.

This is copied directly from the American Bar Association web site. You know where all the lawyers, and judges belong, and most Politian's for that matter also.

"CRT is not a diversity and inclusion “training” but a practice of interrogating the role of race and racism in society that emerged in the legal academy and spread to other fields of scholarship. Crenshaw—who coined the term “CRT”—notes that CRT is not a noun, but a verb. It cannot be confined to a static and narrow definition but is considered to be an evolving and malleable practice. It critiques how the social construction of race and institutionalized racism perpetuate a racial caste system that relegates people of color to the bottom tiers. CRT also recognizes that race intersects with other identities, including sexuality, gender identity, and others. CRT recognizes that racism is not a bygone relic of the past. Instead, it acknowledges that the legacy of slavery, segregation, and the imposition of second-class citizenship on Black Americans and other people of color continue to permeate the social fabric of this nation."

I believe this paragraph clearly spells out some American's concerns. To say it's a verb, and evolving, and malleable means is totally open to a subject interpterion depending on who is assessing the situation. It is out of this basic foundation that we get "White Supremacy", White Privilege, and America is a racist nation. All of which are being taught in schools. That is fact.

A United States Senator from the State of South Carolina spoke to these issues this year. HIs name is Tim Scott. His back ground was very similar to yours in some ways coming from share crop farmers. He spoke of this in his speech to rebut the State of the Union address. I'm sure your familiar with how well his speech was received by all the African American scholars and elites. "Uncle Tim" trended on Twitter. He was treated like the scum of the earth, because he said America isn't racist, and I'm proof.

I'm so sad because it's like the world is blind. I want unity. I want mutual respect. I want every American to reach their goals. I respect you for speaking your mind here, your involvement in the discussion is helping all of us get better. To suggest that there isn't a portion of America that wants nothing to do with equality, but to blame, shame, and accuse to become socially and economically significant is just not looking at things from all angles.

There's plenty of people alive today who were told what restroom they couldn't use, what jobs weren't available to them, what neighborhood they couldn't live in...

But please, continue to tell me how things instantly became equal in September of 1862.
All 3 of his points had the word slavery in it. Never did he say anything about equality.

And lets go a bit further shall we? Since YOU want to discuss jobs and availability ONLY to certain people, let`s talk about affirmative action, shall we? But you won`t want to go there, since it won`t showcase your righteous indignation.

That's the rub - no one knows what it is, but they know they hate it.

Kut is the only one that attempted to explain it.

Then everyone says, "no Kut, that can't be it, because I can agree with that, but I know CRT is horse**** (... but I can't tell you what it is.)"

THIS ^^^^^ Those who are quick to point out 'two wrongs don't make a right' when, say, it is pointed out that conservatives or Trump are only doing what has been done to them when they take certain actions, will ignore that same sentiment when affirmative action discriminates against certain races in order to make up for past discrimination - whether or not those discriminated against themselves were guilty of discrimination

'Two wrongs don't make a right' turns out to be as situational as everything else
