Have you guys found that dogs keep yotes away? We used to have them come up around the house pretty regularly but since ive got my dog and he runs around my property (7 acres) I dont see them or hear them anymore. I did have a fox try and play with my dog which was peculiar.

I carry a .45. I guess a rifle for backup could be put into play but I do have a one year old grandson who visits so leaving a rifle in the bathroom might not be ideal.

Nope, sitting on the toilet this morning, and looked out the window. Opened the window, and stuck a rifle out.

Gonna depend on what kind of dog. Smaller dogs are a common meal for yotes, and even larger dogs have been lured away into an ambush. A Great Pyrenees or something along those lines, yeah I could see them keeping the yotes away.

I have a gsd, my neighbor has a gsd and some other mid size dog. I thought ive heard of dogs being lured like you said but the yotes have seemed to moved off which is surprising to me. Deer still come up, even when my dog is tied up ive had a deer walk within 30 yards of him, while he's freaking out. Maybe theyve moved on because of other reasons.

Oh the neighbor's and your dog could very well be keeping them away, especially if they are reacting. Yotes are sneaky bastards and if something is alerting to their presence that might be all it takes.

Put it this way. Alan doesn't get impressed easily by optics. It takes a lot for me to risk my reputation on a product.

Alan played with rookies, and got set up as a dealer the next day. My first order for the company is processing now.

Earlier this month. I'm still to far down the totem pole to get priority with them, but all that takes time.

I really didn't intend on getting setup, but rookies unit seriously impressed me.
