I was wondering the same things. The earlier response to your post was apparently erroneous given that you could not have people you never heard of on your ignore list since you would have to have deliberately out them there. I also noticed these new people billed as established members.
Yeah like White Squirrel, never heard of him but he jumps in disparaging members? Anyway, are the threads going to be updated, many are cut off at last Tuesday?

from a fellow IT guy... Relax and wait. It takes time for everything to get put back and reset. They said the transition could take days. Patience, Grasshopper.

Just so it's not all bugs and nags...

The multi-quote feature is radically better now and I like the new bell system. Maybe the bell could work the same way on the old site, but I never used it. The old MQ was just straight broken for me.

Re-saving the link resolved the not staying logged in issue.

I assume the format (side bar, width, etc.) are still being worked out, as no changes seem to stick.

I will get used to everything, but I certainly hope the ability to set “posts per page” returns.

    I like the mobile layout.

When I try to apply color formatting in a post I have a quote the cursor jumps to the start of the post.

FYI - the three dots thingies in the editor are each a sub-menu. You know, in case you are looking for stuff

Gotta say this looks much better on my phone.

Just as confirmation, here are a few minor things I noticed that might already be on the fix list.....

    1. Feedback scores and comments gone.
    2. Bubble on top left takes to Texas GunTalk.
    3. Last week of threads and comments missing
    4. Preferences will not save.
    5. Cannot PM (Conversation) anyone.

That is it as best as I can tell. Gotta get used to all these here newfangled fancy thingamajigs.

I noticed that if I start typing a reply to a thread but don't post it, then close that tab and come back to the thread later, the unposted reply "draft" will still be there as I left it. I like that.

I agree with Worddoer also about whats missing. And also can't find out how to delete old messages that I deleted before and now they reappear, but messages from the last 2 weeks are gone. I am also getting a lot of Server Error messages on different pages.

I like it too until I accidentally post whatever ignorance I decided against the first time... :)

Keeping draft replies is pretty cool! Lost drafts in the past when internet was intermintant.

    Multi Quote is WAY better...+100

Drafts are cool. I always wondered in the old system how in the hell to do anything with those saved messages it alerts you to as you were typing.

On a related note, I'd wait for TK to tell us its done before posting anything super meaningful. Depending on how the load/import/merge happens, all the stuff we post between go-live with the stale data last nigh (that we are now building off of by posting now) and when the load completes of the full history, its possible everything we have done since go-live will disappear like a fart in the wind as the board starts over from where the old system was taken offline late last night.
