They weren't refugees. Their parents were granted asylum, a different process entirely. The brothers were granted the same asylum status. The vetting process is considerably different.

Oh. So the refugee process vets refugees much better than the asylum process does. Good to know.

And also I guess that would indicate that the Washington Post got those facts very wrong when they reported that they were refugees.
