What's really crazy is we are in San Diego right now. Allegedly he tried to steal a boat last night here in San Diego then went back up to L.A. There is a chance he is back in San Diego right now.

The police around here are wearing helmets and their main sidearm or a backup in a chest rig. Things are pretty tense here right now. We are supposed to head up to Carlsbad & Camp Pendleton in about 45 minutes. It will be interesting to see what the highways are like and if they will be trying to do any sort of mobile check points like they do along I-8.

Los Angeles officers guarding a "target" named in the posting shot and wounded multiple people in Torrance who were in a pickup but were not involved, authorities said. The extent of their injuries was not released. It's not clear if the target is a person or a location.
The Daily Breeze in Torrance also reports (Massive manhunt for fired LAPD officer suspected in 3 killings leads to shootings in Torrance, Redondo Beach - The Daily Breeze) that there was another police shooting nearby involving another pickup truck, but the driver wasn't hurt.

Amending my last: Looks like the manifesto releasing now has scrubbed all the AWB / Movie star BS. Not clear now whether the one with AWB speech was doctored to push anti-gun agenda, or modified to remove it. Likely the former. All that's clear at this point is we don't know.

I hope nobody takes this teh wrong way, but......... Im glad someone if finally standing up for corruption and the vile people we have in charge. Even though its on a smaller scale, LAPD, im glad soemone is speaking out and naming names. Having said that. I dont agree with him taking his retribution out on innocent people. thats terrible.
