Yeah, it's tough being a Colts fan in NWI. One of the greatest moments of my life was seeing a soggy, dejected Brian Urlacher after the Colts beat the Bears in the Super Bowl. Why do Indiana people support a losing team from Chicago, when they have a winning team with the greatest QB in the NFL right here in their home state?????

The only think I can think of is they had a favorite team before the Colts came here. I did too which was the 49ers but I wanted to support our home team plus I can see the Colts play a lot more often and I can go to thier game a lot easier too. :D It's all about supporting our home team for me. And your right Manning is a great QB.

I was a Bears fan growing up, and still like them. Sweetness is my all time favorite player, I used to have Jim McMahon shades and sweatbands, and I used to have the Superbowl Shuffle memorized.

I just like the Colts better now.:rockwoot:

Here is why I became a Colt's fan. I supported the Raiders for years. Our son wanted us to take him to a Colts game. This was before there was a season ticket waiting list, and you could still get single game tickets. The single game tickets were to be made available to Indiana residents the day before they were available to everyone else. We made the trip to the Ticketmaster in Merrilville, only to find out thet that location operates on the Chicago system, and tickets were not available. By the time we got to another location (South Bend) the tickets were gone. I sent a letter to Larry Hall vice president of ticket operations for the Colts explaining the situation. I promised myself that if they took care of us, I would become a colts fan for life. Mr. Hall came through with 3 excellent seats for us. We have been season ticket holders since the year after that game. What a great chain events, and how lucky for us. We now have 3 front row tickets in a beautiful new stadium.

It hurt. Arian had his best game ever...good for him. Defense and O line need to improve. Good thing is the offense showed they can still score when behind.

Oh, and Bob Sanders, if you are hurt...please leave town.

Hey, Peyton had a great game. Look at his stats. Oh, stats don't win football games.

The Colts cannot survive this season unless they find a running game. The offensive line was just that offensive. The defense...what defense??? They better get something done this week, tough game against the Giants next Sunday night. When was the last time the Colts has sole possession of last place in the division????

I think a two win season is just what the Colts organization needs for taking taxpayer money. They stadium debt is for 30 years. The Gods should bless Jim Ir$ay with 30 years of loosing seasons!! Imagine Lucas Oil 1/2 to 3/4ths full.

You people that gripe about the stadium seem to forget that it get used for more than just Colt games. There is a constant flow of events that come into Indianapolis that utilize the convention center, and Lucas Oil Stadium. The DCI drum and bugle corps have a 20 year deal to have their national finals at Lucas. These events generate money for the city, and the state, and broaden the tax base. Think about what downtown Indianapolis looked like before Conseco Fieldhouse, The Convention Center, and Lucas Oil Stadium. Think about all the revenue that is brought into the city, and all the jobs that are created, by the events that take place in these venues. Think about all the jobs that were, and are still created by the construction that goes along with these venues. Publicly funded stadiums are the norm and have been for some time. Downtown Indy used to be a dump, now it is a pleasure to spend time in the city. Quit whining, and consider yourself lucky to be a part of such a great city, and be happy that the Irsay's brought the Colts to town. If you want to whine make your own whining thread, this thread is for Colts fans.

Ever consider that Indy government was responsible for downtown Indy being a chess pool? John Galt left it for a reason. Any restoration is due to artificial
Infusions of money, not the market at work.
