[strike]Please vote on the poll for the next INGO NWI Meet & Shoot. Based on our last 2 events it appears that we are doing 1 every 4 weeks. 4 weeks happens to still be in May (5 weeks in May) and also the Memorial Day weekend. So not sure if that one is best or if we push it into June. Here is the info for either day. Poll will remain open for 2 weeks (17 May 2010).[/strike]

@Andy219 you aren't invited cause you did not shoot too much this last time. =)
(Inside joke as Andy219 shoot some big bore .500 revolver and hurt his hand. That revolver hurt a lot of people at the last outing).

@AuntieBellum leave it to a girl! to pick a different date. :faint: LOL!
I understand your situation on Sundays but for many "sat" is the family day. =p

I have a steel match on the 30th...beside i think the range may be crowded Memorial Day weekend. I vote for the 6th.

I would also be willing to bring targets and run some simple drills like the El Presidente or similar type drills.

Paperboy I'm not from IL. I'm in NWI (Griffith, IN). The guests I brought are.
I've been on a personal mission to introduce firearms to all my family, friends, and some co-workers who have never touched, shot, or are even scared of guns so they can see that what they see on TV is not real and not to believe all the media hype. In the process some have said "Thanks this was OK but I never want to do it again." Others have said, "I want to learn more". I'm in no way an instructor of anything but if I can at least get them interested I'm happy to send them along down the path of formal training (ie. basic NRA handgun course) and then getting them an LTCH or FOID (IL) and back to the range with their own weapons.

We have to spread the word or else we will lose our rights in a few generations. Off course the issue with spreading the word is that it leaves very little time for you to "play" at the range while you have guest. =P

I voted for the 23rd......based soley on my availability. I have to perform at a festival on memorial day weekend and I will be on a fishing trip the following weekend. Regardless, I will attend as many as possible. I really enjoyed myself.
