I was OC'n at my mom's place yesterday and a young lady approximately 25 was walking a girl around 5.
The 25yr old asked me.."What's that"? I figured I was going to catch some crapola from a liberal.
I played dumb and shrugged my shoulders and replied..."What?"
    She then asked me the caliber of my 1911 and I replied "it's a 1911" "a .45".
She said "Cool, I just got me a 9 last week"
We Thumbs Up'd each other and went on our separate ways.

Beech Grove BMV to get address change. Few workers gave looks, but no issues.

Back in 1994, a guy who worked at the Galyans on Pike Plaza told me a story about his (then) recent trip to the BMV. Some guy removed his jacket when he was getting ready for the photo for his license. He had a pistol carried small of back and someone yelled, "He's got a gun!" and cause a panic for a short while.

    Ah, good times.

Just stayed here in Valpo. But, I've been pretty much all over. Wal-Mart, Wal-Greens, Dollar General, Apple-Bees, Kohl's, KMart (no wonder I'm broke all the damned time :-))

Wow. Standing in Taco Bell right now. Guy with poofy wig looks at me, and loudly says:

" Wow sir, I gotta ask, is that part of a costume or is that real?"
    "I wouldn't carry something fake..."
    "Whoa, better be careful everyone."

Was the poofy wig an attempt at a Halloween costume, or just a bad toupee? If the latter, you should have asked him "is that part of a costume or is that real?"

"Thank you for your concern, sir. But I was minding my own business, may I suggest you try it sometime? Have a nice day."

With the nice weather today I was able to OC. Usual places, gas station and work. I ran into a 5 yr old girl, but luckily she wasn't able to steal my firearm.
