I've been reading a lot of Skelton and Keith lately and my bank account is feeling the pain. Just this month from two different auctions I've picked up two .44 Specials. First was a Model 24-3 from the mid-'80s followed a week and a half later by a Second Model Hand Ejector that was born in 1929. These join a Ruger Bisley Blackhawk Flattop which I have owned for a few years. Needless to say, I'm using a lot of Unique and 240gr cast bullets.

My Dad's Colt model 357. Handed down to me when he went West. This was the predecessor to the Python. Same lockwork without a barrel lug. A little wear on the outside but I like it like that.

Picked up this 4.2 inch GP100 today. Went to Plainfield Shooting Supply fully intent on buying the 3” 686 plus they had in the case. But after comparing it side by side with this Ruger I decided on the Ruger. Had the itch for a big heavy 357 revolver for a while now. Felt good to scratch that itch.

I would be interested to see how many other snubby owners there are here. Here is my S&W 642. I have speed strips instead of Speed loaders now.

Friday I finally did. Took it out today for 300 rounds. Works just fine.
