I finally took the plunge on getting a older S&W revolver. Smith wheel guns have always been a love but just never made it a priority to get one. Until yesterday my local shop had this very nice 10-4 and I just couldn't say no any longer. I have a feeling a few more Smiths could be finding their way home...

I’ve been looking for a 6” 29-2 for a while but couldn’t turn down this 8 3/8” 29-3. I had to clean it up a little and find some wooden grips for it but now it looks pretty nice to me. Now I need some original grips and maybe a Miami Classic shoulder holster just for fun.

Here is my 4” model 19. I picked this up for a steal of a price a few years ago. Love the 19 as it’s what I learned to shoot pistols on with my dad many moons ago. I had the orange insert put in the front sight, white outline rear and had it re-blued. Picked up the grips as well as a set of factory combats. Fits my hand like a broke in pair of boots.

I have a smith and Wesson 625-11. Performance center snub nose .45 colt. Think modern lightweight version of the fitz special. amazing little gun considering the sub 2 inch barrel. Weighs slightly over 20 ounces I believe. Impressive with a 250 grain full profile wad cutter at around 850. wish smith still made new revolvers in .45 colt.

An interesting Colt Thunderer I picked up a while back that may have been used in a bank robbery back in the day. I know stories are easily made up but it is still a tight gun in better shape than the picture shows. The grips are original so I think it has been laying around for a while. The tag was on the gun when I got it.

I have one just like it in 38 Colt. It belonged to my grandfather, he carried it when he would go on his insurance collections (not the mob kind) in the 30’s.

He passed away in 2002 at the rip age of 103
