I rent a lot of different vehicles as I travel a lot on my job, my latest gig is in Missouri.
This week I am driving a Jeep Trailhawk. It's the first time I've ever driven one. And that's enough to convince me that I'll never own one.
I am working out in the boonies. It's about 35 miles from the hotel in Jefferson City to the power plant where I'm working. About 100 miles from the plant to the airport in Saint Louis where I picked up the Jeep.
This is my 4th day, arrived on Monday, and already had to gas up once, and I don't know if there's enough gas left to make the 100 mile drive back to the airport. It has a 15.8 gallon tank, and must get some pretty poor gas mileage too. Combine poor gas mileage with an undersized tank, and seems like I have to stop for gas way too much.
To make it even worse, not sure if it's a 4 or a 6, but it's about as anemic running of a vehicle as it gets. Not my cup of tea.
Rant over.
Over.
