Just returned from some air travel. Most unpleasant. Was "random" patted down in front of my 11 year old daughter. You cannot kno how awful this feels 'till it happens to you. This is an evil organization and it is part of an evil administration. Wonder when the last patdown was for BHO and Big SIS? Signed the petition to abolish the TSA on the White House website early this AM. Urge you to do same.

You get the tyranny that you are willing to put up with.

    BINGO!

OP you should NOT have flown.
ATOMonkey you should NOT have gone to the game.

Both of you should have written to the CEOs of those biz and told them sorry but I could not use your service/biz becuase of regs/law/etc..

ONLY WHEN THE BIZ SEES HIS/HER BOTTOM LINE DROP WILL THEY THEN GO KICK DOWN THE DOOR ON CONGRESS TO FORCE THE CHANGE.

MONEY TALKS & YOU JUST GAVE YOUR MONEY TO THE VERY EVIL YOU WANT STOPPED.

I haven't flown anywhere for quite a while now. It is annoying time-wise, but you do get to see some beautiful American countryside that way!:yesway:

The TSA and all the other departments, bureaus, divisions, branches, etc. that are completely wasteful, unneeded, and antithetical to the principals that founded America will remain until the government realizes that the People are not going to continue to put up with their nonsense any longer. That's up to us. Make sure you're doing your part by sending in letters, signing petitions, refusing to use any business or service that benefits them.

    Heh, sorry for the.:soapbox::chillout:

Not always an option. For example, for my job I need to travel from time to time. One of the places I routinely go is seattle, a 36 hour drive. My company won't pay for me to take 3 days to get there and back (especially if its for 3-4 hours of meetings only). If I don't go I will get fired (up to 70% travel is in my employment contract). If I don't have a job I can't afford to live, and no-one is hiring these days so moving companies isnt an option.

So write your letters (God knows I have), vote for politicans who promise to change, but don't just say "Don't do ____"

Unfortunately, this is the position I'm in also when it comes to flying.

I'm not setting foot inside Lucas for a Colts game though.

Having that job is an option too. It's whether or not you are willing to make that kind of sacrifice for liberty.

I certainly understand that. You have responsibilities and mouths to feed I'm sure. Sometimes you do what you have to.

You can't just drive everywhere to go on vacation, especially quick trips.
I went to the White Sox game on Saturday, the staff at the gate GLANCED into my wifes purse and that was it, they were polite and were probably looking for a bottle of Jack Daniels.
I have no idea why they need to pat down a 3 year old child, thats ridiculous.

I will dealing with TSA later this year and hoping for the pat down. I will purchasing something from one of them Adult stores and stuffing my drawers so that I look like the best paid porn star out there. Might even ask if one of the guys can pat me down as I wink at them

They probably figured fear of a dime in Joliet did the trick before you crossed the state line ;)

Same boat as you. Or plane as it were. Just got back from Texas a month or so back. Don't have to fly too much but hate it when I do.
