Well... as I've mentioned before.
When the people lose faith in their government's ability to administer justice... the void is filled by vigilantism

That's why a justice system SHOULD work.
Because it's supposed to mitigate the errors of a mob rule.

But if that's all the people get, then things get forced.

The people in power, have not studied the past.

And it could be, that they think the mud won't rise up to their level.
But.. history often shows that to be wishful thinking.


Just like people getting a mob riled up.
Sometimes the mob does what it is supposed to.
Sometimes, it goes off in it's own, unforeseen, direction.
