    Does anyone remember being forced to sing “We are marching to Pretoria” in grade school? I think it was in the early 70s.
    I would like to know why the schools made us sing this song. Also the song “This land is your land”
    As I look into the origins of both songs, I think we were being brain washed.

    I heard that song in the 1960's. It's roots are in native womans rights demanded by the non citizens of the Colony.
